I finally sat down and watched Hazbin, and yes, it feels exactly like they were speedrunning a story and mashing arcs together. There's an interesting premise here but they did the least interesting thing possible at every opportunity. You hate to see it. At least Chadam was there... for three episodes. And they didn't do anything interesting with him either, besides give him a guitar-axe. You'd think the original man who lived for 900 years watching all his children and the entire world get ruined by sin would provide ample opportunities for writing fun, but no, they couldn't even do that.
