A bit late here but i can see Vivzie woobiefying Angel dust like she did with Stolas due to popularity. But if she whitewashes Alastor (ha) too then she has no artistic integrity at all.

Alastor is the only character whose evilness is the core drive behind his actions and how others perceive him, if you remove that his character falls apart. I'm not expecting him to realistically do some irredemable shit but he needs to be distrustable/suspicious enough to raise actual stakes.

If vivzie reveals he only canibalized the KKK and/or he's secretly nice then he becomes Charlie's magical negro.

The only thing that makes me think she won't go too hard in "woobifying" Alastor is because he was highly praised from people as a great villain including one autistic journalist that Vivzie retweeted.

Plus I can picture her milking him for evil when all the other villains are out of the way

Another thing that got me thinking with regards to stuff that the writers and Viv obviously put zero effort into providing a satisfying answer is the angelic weapons, mostly, how the Hazbin crew managed to get a hold of them for the final battle. In the series is explained that those where just weapons that where laying around left by the exorcists which is absolutely retarded because it not only makes the exorcists look incompetent but it raises the question that why in the thousands and thousands of years of hell existence nobody ever had the idea to use them against them?

A more interesting answer would have been Carmilla explaining that the angelic weapons despite their might eventually chip away like any other normal weapon and that somethings the exorcists hit their target with such force that is possible for these the break a little, leaving tiny pieces of metal laying around. Pieces that she started recollecting with the hopes to reverse engineer its properties, this process took her DECADES and only amounted to just enough metal that she then converted into her ballerina shoes plus a few other knives and axes.

This could also server as her reason to help Vaggie (stupid name) not because some muh fight for luv' but because she makes a deal with her: she provides the armament to defend the hotel and in exchange she gets to keep the weapons of the fallen exorcists allowing her to speed up her research. Carmilla suddenly becomes way more interesting, Did she smile after hearing the news of victory because she was happy they survived or because she knew that it was bounty time? What are her plans for those weapons? She didn't want the Vees to know that she had access to angelic metal. You can even tie this to S2 with heaven now preoccupied that hell might start mass manufacturing their own "demonic weapons", giving Sera a valid reason for wanting to build the wall around heaven instead of what we are going to get with her just doing it for the lols.

Thank you for reminding me. I really hoped Vaggie would get a name revamp because I knew Hazbin was going to be a more emotional show than Helluva Boss (bullshit, I know, because Viv loves muh gay angst so sad me cry) and a name that's a funni seggzual vagene joke would be a huge dissonance.

Like, I get the name Angel Dust because it's only a fake name and is a drug that ties in with the character's drug struggles, but Vaggie as in vag meaning vagina? Even worse, I personally believe that is not helping Viv's gay fetishization disguised as wokeness thing because lesbians only want pussy for sex. That woman is not helping herself at all.

I never understood why the sins wanna keep corrupting mortals. Like, its clear Ozzie allows Verosika to the mortal realm, because she can corrupt people and thus let 'em end up in Hell. But to what end? Is it as mean of a workforce? Doubt it, they have imps, Hellhounds for that. Is it to build an army to have a rematch with Heaven? Also doubt it, since Lucifer never had interest OR gave up on those ideas when Charlie came into his life. Do they gain more power if more people sin? Fuck if I know, thats just a theory. All sinners end in the pride ring anyways, so really whatever power those souls have goes to Lucifer, maybe that was the point in the beginning, he created all the other sins if I'm not mistaken.

They've just been brain rotted by fandom culture, where shipping is everything and everything is shipping. Everyone knows that Carmilla has angelic weapons. I'm pretty sure she even sells them, since she's the Arms Dearler Overlord or something. It's just that...nobody ever thought to try to used them against the exorcists until now. I don't think Carmilla even knew that angelic weapons could be used against exorcists until they attacked her and her daughters that one time. Which, if she wanted to protect her daughters so much, you would think she would wait to collect angelic weapons AFTER the exorcists left.

I guess one could argue that going up against the exorcists even if you have angelic weaponry is a death wish since there would be only one of you against how many there are in that one area. And that Sinners working together is an impossible feat to accomplish. But it is still odd that you don't see more people in Hell with angelic weapons, whether they be getting them from a Carmilla or finding one lying around after an extermination. And this is not even including Helluva Boss into this, where Striker not only has an angelic gun but multiple angelic weapons as well. Which just brings up another question how a low class hellborn got access to all that weaponry.

At the end of the day, it's just lazy writing.

It was Vaggie who challenged Carmilla, oh wait, MAXINE, only to be saved by Charlie when she was facing defeat. That was the original plan for "Vaggie feels worthless to Charlie" arc which gets resolved by Vaggie dancing with Charlie which impresses Carmilla/Maxine.

It's kinda funny though how these comics seemed to be these characters' first major appearance in the series, so by the time they do make their first major appearance in an animated episode, we're supposed to be familiar with who they are.
