2 CFR 200.1 defines Federal financial assistance to mean “[a]ssistance that recipients or subrecipients receive or administer” in various forms, but this term does not include assistance provided directly to individuals. For the purposes of this memorandum, Federal financial assistance includes: (i) all forms of assistance listed in paragraphs (1) and (2) of the definition of this term at 2 CFR 200.1; and (ii) assistance received or administered by recipients or subrecipients of any type except for assistance received directly by individuals.

Nothing in this memo should be construed to impact Medicare or Social Security benefits.

This is about grants and loans to NGOs.

A lot of universities will be very angry though because this memo defunds all of their "studies" departments and half of their Science™ departments.

The gist I'm getting is that this is an audit of sorts for federal loans and grants, finding out what money is going towards towards DEI, Green Deal and Foreign Aid type things. It's cancelling those grants and loans and assigning oversight to those agencies that handle them.

School lunches under the Obamas were fucking horrible. And schools got pissed off at parents (especially the poorer parents) packing lunches for their kids.

The price of the lunches went up, tripled by the HS, doubled in elementary and JR high, then they served absolute fucking garbage. We're talking I'm not sure that the meat was supposed to be for human consumption.

Send your kids to school with a sack lunch because you can't afford it? Oh, now they're up in your fucking business. They would literally threaten kids with discipline because the parents were too poor to afford the lunches but didn't qualify for free lunches or weren't on food stamps.

Schools have been feeling waaaaay too muscular about their possession of other people's kids since the Obama administration.
