The top four posts in /r/all, and a fifth further down, are all the exact same thing about Musk's supposed Nazi salute. These are subreddits that once upon a time were about their actual topics: public freakouts, there being an attempt, etc. Now it's nothing but this rank political stupidity.

No, genius, I'm not going to do a gesture which makes no sense out of context and will inspire a mob of idiots to try to cancel me. Most acknowledge that Musk would've been well-advised to make a more distinctive gesture to avoid this appearance. That doesn't mean he was doing a Sieg Heil. Her framing it as "a way to greet people" is disingenuous since when Musk did it, he did it as a "giving my heart to you" gesture.

But it's good seeing reddit hasn't changed since last time Trump was president. His first term, every morning the front page would be flooded with posts and people in hysterics about some benign thing Trump did, like the way he held his water.

Some Republican didn't vote in favor of the anti-lynching bill! He must be pro-lynching! (ignore that the bill has nothing to do with lynching and every part of the lynching process is already illegal).

No he didn't. Government officials always lie with numbers.

Almost all of Obama's "deportations" were people turned away by border patrol after trying to sneak across. There were almost no internal deportations once people managed to sneak into the US undetected. The number of illegals actually went way up during his administration. Same with Bush's and pretty much every other president.

By the end of the year Trump will have probably executed more actual internal deportations than any president in history, they way things are going.

Edit: I should probably say besides Eisenhower.
