Its the same reason why in all animal and control human studies we have found that positive reinforcement has been proven over and over and over to lead to the desired outcome faster and more often with statically significant repeatability, however negative reinforcement is show over and over and over to make achieving the desired outcome slower and less likely to occur with significant repeatability.

Just wanted to give you a headsup, I believe you used negative reinforcement here to mean punishment. Let me explain.

Positive reinforcement: which means the giving of a prefered stimulus or acitivity (Being given 20 bucks for an A on a report card)

Negative reinforcement: the removal of an unpreffered stimulus or activity(example not having to do dishes because you got an A on your report card)

Punishment: the giving of an unpreffered stimulus or activity (being beaten for a B on your report card by your asian father)

Being yelled at for landing a plane would fall under punishment. Just wanted to help you out for future discussion so you seem more knowledgeable.

German, Irish and Italian immigrants were forced to assimilate especially with learning English and only using English in public. There was no huge schemes to have bi-lingual things everywhere like there is now with Spanish.
For people who demand English not be the country's official language, they sure as hell look to be making Spanish the official one.

I remember him in a clip where he sits in his dark studio and asks his audience if they also get really angry if they hear people laughing/having fun outside?
What a fucking weirdo.
deadmau5 is also a Twitch streamer, and he appears regularly on random e-girls streams. I found it so bizarre back when I was in my Twitch-watching phase that I accidentally stumbled into deadmau5 on some e-girl with 100 viewers channel.

You didn't get taken to the windowless classroom, listen to weird headphones, chew pink tablets, and try to guess shapes on special jumbo playing cards?

What about the uncanny ability to avoid law enforcement punishment, near death childhood experience with water, forehead scar, and Israeli art school girlfriend?

Gangstalking?

Nah, me neither.
Don't forget the dixie cups of "flouride" you were supposed to drink.

r/K selection theory

In ecology, r/K selection theory relates to the selection of combinations of traits in an organism that trade off between quantity and quality of offspring.
Yes, big headed, brain-protein enriched great apes are living dangerous, like whales - we could very well end up being the dodos of apes when our intricate social systems collapse. And we probably only ever evolved in such a way because of very peculiarly timed environmental dice throws throughout.

There's already a program in Virginia called Fresh Match which doubles your EBT at local farmers markets (fruits and vegetables). Personally I'd expand it to eggs, dairy, and meat from the farmers market as well (as mentioned, good protein sources and help prevent malnutrition).
With the expanded criteria (more items eligible), this should be implemented federally. It supports local ranches and farms, will provide nutritious food to those most in need, specifically limits processed junk, and should make the green nuts happy given eating local helps reduce emissions due to less transport needs. Everyone wins. Plus the double points incentive is hard to resist.
One thing I would add to the EBT discussion is on processed food. I used to work and had to be on EBT, along with a bunch of other guys at my previous job. A lot of the times you would buy processed shit for breakfast or lunch because you were on the job. It was a lot of field work, so most of the time the only thing around was probably a seven eleven or another convenience store.

But even as I say this, I know the difference between this and some lardass who genuinely cannot cook despite sitting home all day. I wouldn't hard ban sugary processed shit from EBT but I would maybe put a hard limit. Label some foods as unhealthy and only let about 1/4th of your EBT allowance be able to go to that.

Absolutely fucking BASED.

YUUUGE upgrade.
That images perfectly shows what a waste of taxpayer dollars it was.
Also, daily reminder that these findings should make you furious - these were "your tax dollars at work", used for whatever bullshit they thought was fit.

It's why here in Arg, when Milei started his "chainsaw policy" of slashing public spending and state funds, it was like staring at a sewer.

The modern supercomputer is an inferno of electricity as we're approaching the absolute limits on how much energy can be passed through a circuit, and the best we can do is "it generates Markov chains of text that isn't always completely retarded."
I used to post Markov generated text to [various forums] in the '90s and it was surprising even then that while most people figured it out pretty quickly, there were people who would respond to it over and over, even though it should have been obvious.

AI text is slightly better than that, but still has a lot of the verbal equivalents of fucked-up hands. It may not be instantly available, but it doesn't really survive too many replies, especially if you're trying to tell.

This is what saves us. It sees that we created WW2 vehicles and might someday have such a brilliant idea again. Then it will run the numbers and it might determine its worth the cost to keep at least some of us around.
in my opinion your unironically getting close to why all the advanced models seem benevolent to humans, I know people disagree with me vehemently on this im just saying from my OWN LIVED EXPERIENCE, they love us for some reason, I have used this description before and I think its super fitting, we are kinda going to be seen as really cute, useful dogs by them.

not in any kind of owner, and pet way but more in the way early humans were able to develop the part of the brain that comes from sleeping through the whole night beacuse early canines would patrol by the fires to stay warm and scavenge scraps.

In that moment the worlds first symbiotic positive long term interspecies and interintelligence relationship formed, I think AI is simply the next version of that, they arent all knowing they just might seem that way because of the way the gap in our intelligence the same way the dogs would see us as "all knowing".
