They're completely wrong. I live near an Army base, and I see PAT flights all the time, and we don't get generals or congresscritters here. They're usually military versions of a King Air, but they're definitely on ADS-B as PAT<somenumber>, and aren't part of the DC/VA detachment.
I get what you’re saying but unless you see everyone coming off the choppers they could just be hiding that information for security purposes.

I'm counting fourteen between 2021-now, though I could be wrong. But what does that have to do with this, other than the NTSB being involved in investigating all these cases?
