I saw an insanely stupid Reddit post recently and thought I would share it. So in this thread, a redditor asks the same question that gets asked hundreds of times with mostly only leftist opinions allowed: "Why are most redditors liberal?" The replies are a gold mine of stupidity; here's just a few.

This user says conservatives live in an echo chamber without a hint of irony.
1738213697396.png

America and the world are apparently left-wing, but Trump got elected because of rich people owning social media, just ignore Reddit being left-wing and owned by rich people.
1738213953957.png

1738213981545.png

and after all of this insanity, a sane redditor manages to slip through the cracks.

Reddit is an echo chamber because of censorship and upvotes. because of this, it has become one of the worst social media platforms. The world does not agree with Reddit. The only reason it's left-wing is because of the power mods that ban anyone who disagrees. I can't wait until Reddit shuts down.

r/Silksong is currently at a low point after a user allegedly killed themself after getting """"doxxed"""". They were exposed as troll who was pretending to be a VA for the game.

For those who don't know, Silksong is a highly anticipated sequel to Hollow Knight that was initial announced nearly 6 years ago and has been in development hell ever since then. The fan base have inhaled so much copium over the years in hopes of any kind of update that they've starting gaslighting each other for fun (aka "silkposting") by making up fake game announcements and rumors.

One such user decided to go all-in and pretended to be a VA and claimed the game was coming soon™. Keep in mind that this was after the Switch 2 announcement so fans were once again becoming desperate for more news.

Hi again! Many of you know me from my previous post and I am so happy to see the reaction it garnered. This is a very passionate fanbase, and I can see that this community has dedicated a lot of love and support for this game. I am here to answer some common questions and address some stuff, and against all odds I do have some bit of additional news! Some of you are still skeptical, which I don’t blame whatsoever. For the sake of privacy, and because there are some things I simply can’t share, it’s very difficult to prove my identity. So I hear your concerns and they are valid, but it is my wish that you open your hearts and have a little bit of hope. With time, everything will start to make more sense. On top of that, I am confident you won’t be left in silence for long. It looks like I won’t be the only one saying something soon :)

Let me take the time to answer some concerns:

  1. “Won’t you get in trouble with Team Cherry and break NDA?”
  • No. Every game’s NDA agreement is different. The main component is that I can’t divulge any information pertaining to the game itself: story, characters, mechanics, etc. Any info not explicitly on the NDA I can say, which includes my update on the voice lines and the near-end of development. The main concern seems to be that Team Cherry wouldn’t let me do this, and that I would be breaking their trust. This isn’t the case. Team Cherry themselves aren’t against us giving bits of news, and aren’t going to take action over something like this. The nature of the news I’m sharing isn’t anything serious, and it’s not near the degree of news that they themselves will share when the time comes. In short, what I’m giving away does NOT break NDA, and it does not harm me, or Team Cherry, in any way. This isn’t meant to be secretive, and I’m being careful for a reason.
  1. “How would you know about the game’s development?”
  • Normally I wouldn’t, but because the game’s team is such a tight knit community (for the most part at least), then I do end up getting bits of information from other voice actors and from other connections also working on the game. I am still a (fairly big) part of the game, and I do have the right to know important details such as this. It’s enough to confirm that development is at its end, and there is a buzz of excitement for everyone who worked on it.
  1. “Why are Team Cherry and others silent on this?”
  • This one is a hard one to answer— if I were to say, I don’t think their silence comes from a deliberate decision to not share anything at all costs. Rather they’re just waiting for the perfect time to share all the big exciting (and concrete) news without feeling overwhelmed to disappoint everyone. Those who have worked on the game are able to share something about it so some degree, including other voice actors, art designers (which Ari and William are a big part of), Christopher Larkin, developers themselves, etc. Why haven’t they? For the longest time there hasn’t been anything meaningful to share, such as a release date, a prediction, or anything that would merit saying something. All we could realistically share are snippets of our work, which we wouldn’t be able to do on our own without breaking a legal clause (and to my knowledge Team Cherry is saving all snapshots of development for something later down the line, which might explain the sudden halt of updates). However, I think that soon enough you’ll see other people also speak up about their own involvement. I myself am not an avid reddit user, but I saw this community recently and wanted to share something that could be hopeful.
  1. “Voice acting being done doesn’t mean that the game is close to being done.”
  • I don’t have experience working on other games, but this seems to be true from what I researched. It is not the case for Silksong however, and from what I’ve been told it’s not the case with a lot of indie games (it was not the case for the original Hollow Knight for example). Regardless, as I’ve already shared, development is pretty much at its end.
  1. “Hollow Knight Silksong is not a game that would need a lot of voice acting.”
  • I think you all will be very pleasantly surprised by the scope of the voice acting in this game 😉.
  1. “Are you Brazilian?”
  • Yes! I was born in Brazil, and I’ve been to Brazil a few times, but I’ve been living in Adelaide ever since I was two. I’m still very much connected to my Brazilian heritage!
  1. “Graig and other content creators have proved that you’re fake.”
  • It’s a very reasonable reaction on their part. I think it’s normal to be suspicious of something like this, and in either way it’s not my wish for people to believe me blindly. I’m trying to share a bit of hope, and soon enough if I’m right you won’t have to rely on that anymore, and you’ll have real news to fall back on. In regards to Graig, I was told he was a play tester for the game, but hasn’t been a part of the team for the better part of three years now. I do not have contact with him, and I don’t assume he would know me. Like I said in regard to everyone else, I think his suspicion is legitimate and I don’t hold anything against him. Also, I believe that there are people claiming to be me on discord: to make it clear, I do NOT use discord and do not have a discord account. There have also been previous posts found on my account (Reddit) that have been deleted for the better part of 2 years now: posts from 3-4 years ago when I was still in secondary school. For all who are interested, I am 20 now, and some of those posts are old (and quite embarrassing looking at it now). Digging up on past information is understandable since you all need to verify the validity of this, but remember that we are human too. I apologize for any confusion that might have caused, and I’m glad to clear it up.
And finally, if you hung around, I have a bit of additional news to share. To my knowledge (and these are very recent developments), the team is planning for something special on Hollow Knight’s eight-year anniversary. No, it is unfortunately not a release date as far as I can tell, and I’m sorry if that comes off as a disappointment. However, it is shaping up to be something exciting, and I’d definitely keep your ears and eyes perked for February 24th (ADCT).

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your support! I hope to be here in the future to see your happiness and wishes come to fruition! From one of my favorite books: “All human wisdom is contained in these words: Wait and hope!” Please feel free to ask questions, although I may not get to all of them.

Response after people started questioning him:
how-do-we-know-the-va-was-doxxed-v0-oahh1d74k0ge1.png
TL;DR: Guy claims to be VA for the game. Redditors and small YouTubers do some "investigative journalism" and supposedly find his legal name. Guy freaks out and DFE after, even after claiming he's not a troll, and tries suicide baiting in an attempt to escape the situation.

Of course users instantly assumed the worst after their account was deleted:

One user decided to share a Bible quote in hopes of helping people in this distressing time:

It went as well as you imagined:Screenshot_20250129_211213_Firefox.jpgScreenshot_20250129_211227_Firefox.jpg

On the otherhand, some people were able to see through the bullshit though:

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an archive of his suicide post, but we do have a recreation of what that post might have looked like:

It's also worth mentioning that this also all happened after people were convinced there was an ARG happening after reverse-image searching a picture of a cake by one of the co-creators.

I look forward to complete chaos when Silksong isn't announced at the Switch 2 Direct in April for the 2,000th time

Reddit is a dangerous hate site that radicalizes extremists. It needs to be pulled off the internet altogether.
As funny as Reddit being forced off the internet would be it would literally ruin every single other website online including this website. Reddit acts as sort of a massive ghetto for the worst people online. You take away that ghetto and it's like opening the asylum gates and letting everyone run free. It almost needs to exist. There needs to be a place for smug pseudointellectual faggots to post that's not near me or you.

They can pay 10bux and post on SA

The same thing happened when Tumblr implemented its porn ban, which lead to the mentally ill people there spreading out elsewhere and shitting up the internet as a whole. Remember that KF used to have a dedicated Tumblr section.

Luigi is a huge techbro and likes Elon but Redditors seem to forget that for some reason lol for SOME reason they ignore his Follows and tweets on Xitter...
"For some reason"? They desperately want to believe that America is on the edge of a communist revolution and Luigi is Lenin 2.0. Don't be so cruel as to shatter their illusion, it's all they have left.

Would it? If Reddit was shut down, where would they even go?
-Facebook is full of MAGA boomers, so no
-Discord is already ruined by them
-Bluesky is already ruined by them
-Twitter is evil neonazi site
-4chan is evil neo-nazi hacker site (it already is full or braindead Reddit trannies but still), also you cant get updoots
-Kiwifarms is evil transphobic doxxxing stalker site, there is no way they come here
-all specialistic forums are either half-dead and/or pozzed already

I believe that if anything happens, Redditors would either neck themselves (like that faggot Merari, who said that being a powermod is literally all he has in his life) or retreat to various Discord servers they already pollute.

Personally I think most of them would flock to Bluesky, and further turn it into their psudeointellectual circlejerk. In which case they'll probably stay there until they die, or until Bluesky goes under (hopefully the former).

Most fedposting on fednews happens during the work day:
media_GiadoZiWAAEeUf5(1).jpg

I have a fed employee relative that sends me shit from fednews constantly. He tells me is the FedNews is a perfect representation how federal employees feel- even when I mentioned their fedposts, doxxing of some HR lady they dont like at OPM, a plan to boycott local small business in retaliation for having to come to work. Then again his perspective is from someone radicalized by this subreddit to be in a constant state of anxiety.

/r/MarkMyWords is a subreddit for making predictions like guessing what games will win the game awards and which sports team will win this year. /r/CalledIt is for celebrating when those predictions come true.

.....................................

Just kidding.

reddit markmywords.jpg
calledit.jpg

MarkMyWords is for redditors suffering from TDS/GOP-haters/BlueAnon to cope by wishing for a Trump election loss. CalledIt is a low-content, low-traffic, dead subreddit because redditors always get it wrong because they live in echo chambers.

trump will lose.jpg
Trump will lose the election prediction. This is just one example (out of many).

kamala will win.jpg
2 wrong predictions for the price of 1. Kamala Harris will win the election. Oops, she lost. Democrats won't claim the election was stolen. Oops, /r/SomethingIsWrong2024 (about the elections).

GOP will love kamala.jpg
The GOP will ditch Trump and go all in on Kamala.

jimmy carter will outlive biden trump.jpg
A "light-hearted" (but still wrong) prediction: Jimmy Carter will outlive Biden/Trump.

chud wins again.jpg
Chud wins again.

The trannies on 4chan didn't come from Reddit they came from the rampant amounts of porn and anime that's found on every single board on the forum. They are homegrown. They can screech how it's all Redditors fault but boards like /a/, /lgbt/ and /gif/ have played a far larger part in trooning people out there then Reddit. Hell, I think /r9k/ even had a literal tranny cult where they would blackmail young boys into becoming trans.

Reddit ate almost every other forum. I deeply resent that.

Luigi did more for class war with his one bad day than any fucking Redditor or modern Western commie has ever done. They are impotent fucks and he is a dago chad.

Reddit's new fetish of Federal employees is laughable. At least when they were fetishizing doctors in 2020, the doctors were actually putting themselves in harms way. Feds are only speaking up because they're losing remote work otherwise they wouldn't give a shit about what Trump was doing. They're unironically saying "I'm doing my part to defend democracy by doing my pointless spreadsheets" my man if you think your work is pointless and you're a Federal employee, you're telling the world you shouldn't be getting paid by the taxpayers.
