On snowden/assange and related. I always viewed their actions as more along the lines of them ""betraying"" a series of parasites attached to the under belly of the nation than betraying the actual nation itself in any meaningful capacity. They weren't out handing out folders to foreign agents and receiving briefcases of money. They were openly revealing what was being done to the people, that the government was hiding from the people.

If your own government is putting bugs in your home, making your smart TV record you, playing fuck fuck games with foreign powers and war gaming and using your tax dollars for it all then you by god fucking given right deserve to know.

the best bit in my view was the part where this senator just started saying TULSI, DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUR TRIP TO ROME TO MEET THE POPE AT THE VATICAN WHICH WAS PUBLICLY AVAILABLE INFORMATION WAS FUNDED IN PART BY AN INDIVIDUAL I DON'T SUPPORT?

Seems to me that Snowden just suddenly popped up out of nowhere as an attack angle on Tulsi exclusively for this hearing when otherwise Dems don't give a shit about him one way or the other. All the crying before about Tulsi was concerning Assad.
