Her instagram's pretty dead now. She used to post like 1-2 times a week. The last post was 9 weeks ago and the last personal post was ~23 weeks ago.

I certainly believe in this theory. Ever since Trump won the elections, suddenly this mouthpiece for the trans movement goes radio silent.

There's probably a whole cast of HR working overtime so she can't say something stupid, probably even more seeing how people relentlessly mocked Selena Gomez for crying for the inmigrants.

I think recent events must have come as a bit of a culture shock. That realisation that actually, people don’t love trannies and aren’t interested in hearing them tell their stories outside of a minority of liberal progressives.

The troons themselves probably haven’t fully figured it out, but no doubt the money men have. Page’s management are probably shitting themselves that the market for films about pooners just isn’t there, and no one is going to pretend this tiny dood is a hot man.

All the movies/franchises that are mentioned in this article, aside from Umbrella Academy and her self-insert pooner movie, are more than ten years old at this point. Who even remembers or talks about Super anymore?

Her career is stone dead. It's over. The only reason she was able to keep up the momentum for so long post-poon, if you can even call it that, is that she's probably the most famous actress to poon out so far. Back when the video game was released, horny gamers discovered that the 3d model of the protagonist was very detailed, and that if you hacked the game to change the camera angles during a shower scene, you could look at Ellen‘s nude body, particularly her tits. Ellen lost her mind, the studio apologized, etc.

Now that Ellen is making a TV show out of the game, she’s perfectly happy posting photos of her (sliced-up) tits. My how times have changed.

The ‘controversy’ about her cute little nude body being available via hack is the only thing I can remember about the game. It totally disappeared not long after that died down. It’s basically forgotten at this point and her reviving it now shows she’s desperate. I wonder if she’ll play a pooner version of her original character?

David Cage is a Neil Breen-tier lolcow in his own right, and Beyond: Two Souls was funny because, at the time, people worldwide were congratulating Page for her portrayal of Ellie in the critically acclaimed first The Last of Us game (which Page had nothing to do with; and which has resulted in every subsequent remake and adaptation going out of its way to make Ellie look further and further differentiated from Ellen). Ellen would always reply "I am not in The Last of Us - I play Jodie in Beyond: Two Souls." And anyone familiar with Cage's previous games (Omikron: The Nomad Soul and Indigo Prophecy) already knew it was going to be be a nonsensical turd.

Ellen resorting to this is funnier than people know. The plot is actually centered around Willem Dafoe torturing his ghost family because he won't kill himself to be with them (Spoiler: he does; and immediately goes "This is great - Why didn't I do this in the first place?"), with Ellen's role being largely independent of that plot; and instead pointlessly depicting her as constantly using her conjoined ghost twin who died in the womb to wait to fight off rapists until after they have beaten her into submission, but before they can achieve penetration (the player controls the ghost). The game also consists of scenes played out of chronological order; so you have no idea what's going on aside from Ellen Page constantly finding herself victimized by men and saved by a ghost.
