this does bring up a great question, why are so many zoomers so rough looking? they all seem to age like boomers. like you can't tell the difference between a teen movie and a porno with how bad they're all aging.
my personal thought, as a much older boomer type person is the spread of post modernism and thus nihilism through western society.
These poor kids are being taught that nothing really matters, that your just a bunch of chemical reactions designed to reproduce until you die.
They're taught that right and wrong are just words and what matters is what side your on. That an ethical system of beliefs is a drawback and a hindrance as what truly matter in life is
to drive you enemies before you and hear the lamentations of their women is the collection of power so you can inflict your will upon a pointless and random universe for your own pleasure. Because their is no heaven or hell nor any God nor any point to life so you might as well do whatever feels good as nothing means anything.
They are taught that the world will end in X number of years, that mankind in just plain evil at heart and nothing will
change that so we must lock down systems to prevent the average person from being evil for evil's sake. (of course not
them, they are the only true good people).
With all this nihilism and doomsday shit coming at them from everything they see, hear and read of course it will sink in. School, movies, books, music, tv, all of these re-enforce the viewpoints above so I don't really blame most Gen Z'ers and such for succumbing to all that propaganda.
After all living a selfish, self indulgent life, seeking only your own pleasure is also the easiest way to live.
But it's also the most hollow and unfulfilling...hence the mass use of SSRI's and Prozac by the population. By my guess we are only a few generations away from soma pills.
