Gen Z is so detached with irony that they won't play ball and be "wholesome." Gen Z also mocks the Millennial's lack of self awareness. In my experience Millennials detest Gen Z because Z refuses to wear their heart on their sleeve. They would rather hide behind irony and obfuscate their intentions.

So its basically the theater kid versus the class clown. A friendship that is not meant to be. The effect of this is not fully revealed. Millennials are no longer the trendsetters. The modern internet is ruled by Gen Z, and I am tired of the irony wasteland. As someone in the middle of that godforsaken generation I'd argue they're the same as any other. There are chunk of normal people and a subset of loud screeching dipshits. This has always been pretty obvious though and I'm confused as to why you seem to think you or any other generation is somehow different.
