In the past (And I'm talking like, 5-10 years ago), this wouldn't be a problem. But now, EVERYTHING has to align with your politics. Everything. Not just the content. The actors, writers, creators, directors. Fuck, if the cameraman to a TV show they liked voted for Trump you'd never hear the fucking end of it. The problem is coming from their education and making everything 'political', even when it has nothing to do with it. Its the sociology problem. Everything is problematic, you have to look for it. And since sociology is a piss-easy major and aligns with communications and the like, you have tons and tons of people believing this crap and demanding it. I could go off all day railing against the humanities, but that's where this crap comes from. That and humanities doesn't teach you to question anymore, it says shut up and listen.

A homophobe can produce great works of fiction. So can a racist. So can a delusional idiot. This doesn't invalidate their talent or the work at all. People have flaws and things won't always align. A vast, vast majority of people realize this. People can separate the creator from the creation. And differing views is the easy part. When creators are really abhorrent people, shit gets complicated really quick. These people are nowhere near equipped to handle any of this. They can barely handle a bad tweet.

These aren't adults, they are overgrown children. They can't really debate or even talk to people calmly with opposing opinions. Even mild ones.

Where did you hear that? I remember on Game Grumps, forever ago, Arin brought up the fact that Barry (their then-editor) was the only Jew (I can't remember the episode or exact context, but I think Jon was joking about Barry being greedy or something and Arin laughed about how inappropriate it was that Barry, the one Jew, was being singled-out).

What's funny is that both shows are produced by NormalBoots. Owned by one Jon Jafari....

He generally tries to stick to one video a month unless something particular catches his eye and he feels the need to comment on it. (Like Blizzard shutting down an extremely popular Warcraft server). I think the only real time he updates for sporadic was when he was doing Starched but even then those went right up when finished.
