I don't understand the brigading, if we were in the mid 90s with Capcom character designers doing copious amounts of Chu-Hi and sleeping in cubicles to create perfect coomer bait to attract kids to arcades I'd get it but c'mon it's been 30 years of this shit. Hell, it's not just Capcom. A lot of game designers, East and West, did what they could to put hot chicks in video games during the 90s and 2000s. Even something like Command and Conquer, where the objective of the game is to slaughter your enemies in large army battles, the live-action cutscenes look like they were shot for an 80s porno and all the women in them are drop-dead sexy. Even their FPS spinoff Renegade had the main character "Havoc" macking on a hot Japanese chick with whom he had a love-hate relationship with. (He even tries to snipe some Nod dude who pats her on the ass.)

So I don't get this sudden turn towards anti-coomer that Razor and Melanie decided to go for. It's like they forgot the past 35 years of video games. Gaming has always appealed to coomers and the kind of people who like sexy chicks, even as far back as the 90s and early 2000s. The moment they could make reasonably attractive video game models, and the moment they were able to put full-motion video in these games, they've always done what they could to attract male gamers with attractive women.

Something like Stellar Blade or First Descendant wouldn't look that out of place in the golden age of gaming, which was the 2000s-early 2010s.

I was directed to this thread because I'm old enough to have lived through conservative Christians calling everything immoral and Satanic in the late '80s and into the '90s, and demanding censorship of everything hey didn't like. Bible thumping hall monitor type shit. Extremely loathsome people.

As someone who has studied the Bible with clergy who have studied religious matters for decades, these moral majority/religious censorship types have always disgusted me. Their theology is usually a mess, they typically don't know or accept what Jesus Christ preached, it'd be a miracle if they understood the concept of the Holy Trinity, and yet they speak with such authority when they accuse something else of being demonic.

I always get the feeling of "who the fuck are they" whenever I see these idiots talk, especially when they themselves would be considered the soldiers of hell by religious authorities that are far older than them. To the point where half these moral arbiters would probably get burned at the stake by the Inquisition for believing the wrong thing about God and Jesus Christ. Hell, falsely accusing someone of being demonic can probably land you in an Inquisitorial jail, which is where most of these puritanical moral-fags belong.

Video games, like all things, are part of creation. The Bible tells us that creation is good, for God saw what He had made, and He saw that it was good. Video games usually bring joy to children and adults alike, and the stories they tell are no weirder than any fantasy novel or movie that came before. Meaning that they would technically not be evil or demonic in the least.

Hell, many of the early video games had very basic stories. Mario vs. Bowser is literally the shining knight saving the princess from the evil dragon scenario, except they swapped out the knight with a blue-collar plumber. Samus is Ellen Ripley from Aliens mixed with Boba Fett from Star Wars, and her mission is rather basic; killing the shit out of aliens 99% of the time. If we're to condemn video games like Ultima or Doom for featuring demons, we'd also have to condemn Lord of the Rings for having demonic Balrogs and fallen angels like Sauron and Saruman running about in the story. And we all know how the Religious Right would feel about THAT, considering that they idolize Tolkien.

The fact that Razorfist wants to deny this shit ever happened, just because he wants to get into the panties of the modern Right, goes to show that he has no credibility. It was the one time when the so-called "Religious Right" committed one of the worst missteps in culture, aside from tolerating clergy who were diddling kids and parents who were abusing their kids in the name of Jesus. It was basically the reason why so many nerds, especially DnD/RPG nerds, were either ambivalent about religion or openly hostile to it. And as someone who is religious, that's just saddening to me, that these poor souls close off their hearts to something that could make their life better, just because some prick who barely understands the faith calls them demoniacs for daring to play a video game or a board game. As a man of faith, that shit just pisses me off. And the fact that Razorfist is siding with these people goes to show that his faith is naught but a plastic facade.

There sure as hell are people on there who know a hell of a lot more about her failed marriage than I do. The Religious Right was pretty skitzo when it came to Tolkien. I knew people who were pretty much not allowed anything fantasy unless it was Narnia. Tolkien being a Christian wasn't really well known among the sorts of people who made an exception for Narnia. Since he was a Catholic, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Anyway, I don't know Melonie Mac, nor do I follow her, however I'm aware of her due to Twitter. She became Christian several years ago after getting divorced. The marriage lasted just under a year. It was after this that her transformation into a Bible thumping Hot Topic e-girl began. To my knowledge, her ex-husband moved on to being with a younger woman. I think he might have married her? I'm not sure, as all I've seen have been a couple photos of him and his new lady lifted from either his or his girl's IG account and posted on Twitter. I only bring this up because there's a persistent rumor that Melonie's ex-husband left her for a man, and that's why she rants against gay people. Considering the evidence I've seen, this rumor seems to be very false.

Anyway, having perused Ms. Mac's Twitter timeline, I get the impression of a directionless middle aged woman who peaked in her teen years and is still trying to live there. She has childish interests ("geek" pop culture slop) and her gimmick is saying "faggot," "tranny, and occasionally "retard," while carefully avoiding any other slurs. Despite being a middle aged Christian woman, she posts thirst trap material on social media. She uses her religion as a cudgel against anyone or anything she doesn't like. Her voice is also rather annoying.

I don't know anything about this Raz0rfist guy. Never seen him before now.

I don't play video games much in the past decade, but I played them a lot when I was a kid. I remember almost every game I liked was called immoral/Satanic by the bible thumpers back then (Doom, Blood, Diablo, Quake, GTA, and so on). Time really is cyclical. Mac is really no different than the bible thumpers of the '90s, even if she wants to dress it up in Y2K Hot Topic fashion. She's also no different than the alphabet people who religiously cling to their ideology and demand changes be made to video games and other pop culture to suit their agenda. She cries about coomers while they cry about inclusion and bigotry. All these people should be tossed into an active volcano.

Objectively speaking Melonie is a very pretty woman. I know everyone's going to single that comment out but the reality is if you go around showing her picture to people without context you will get a majority of upvotes. Even though folks here may find her "mid" she might as well be Helen of Troy to her target audience (awkward geeks and incels who aren't going to see anything better). This has allowed her to hang around well past the point of experation.

Her latest moral crusade is nothing new but hopefully it's the last one. If you really want to make her uncomfortable point out that most of the guys watching her are doing it for the purposes of masturbation.

Razorfist really does strike me as a curious case of a sellout; was he really that hungry for recognition from the Trump Right that he'd abandon his previous principles and a rather healthy fanbase of DnD geeks and Metalheads? I mean, his fanbase was rather prolific, especially since he became the go-to weeb-basher when Spoony went dark, and he similarly scored good points with DnD-RPG fans when he extolled the values of their system over the JRPGs that DnD fans hated. Not that long ago, he defended Baldur's Gate 3, a game that was filled to the brim with sexual degeneracy, just because it was a good DnD-RPG, showing that he's more than OK with sexual degeneracy so long as he's getting his fill of DnD goodness.

Except this is on a bigger scale, especially since Danny-boy alienated huge portions of his fanbase by denying the religious panics of the 80s and pretending that the Religious Right's persecution of DnD fans and Metalheads never existed.

It is obvious to me and many others that people who goon to anime and vidya women are usually not having kids themselves. A government, of course, cannot stand to have less and less people around, since that means less taxpayers, less workers, less value to the economy, and at best, they'd be forced to make up for it by opening the floodgates and letting every brown Pablo and Muhammad walk through the front door, or at worst, they'd be like Japan and Korea; nations that will soon perish due to a lack of people. Hence why both the Left and the Right have begun to attack gooners and media with sexy anime and video game women; they're distracting the men from the real-life thing and having families, which is, in the end, bad for the Feds.

Notice how the Third-Wave Feminists are not as zealous about abortion and population control as the Second-Wave Feminists were. It was your typical leftist who cried foul over Roe v. Wade being overturned, not the Feminists who were busy crying sexism over things like video game and anime. They cried a bit over it, but then they returned to being puritanical asshats, as if nothing happened. If this was the Second-Wave Feminists, they'd be super-depressed over Roe being overturned. And of course, the Right celebrated the overturn of Roe v. Wade, but they also became puritanical asshats when the Don returned to the Presidential "Throne". They're attacking anime and video game waifus because the reigning government, Right or Left, hurts their bottom line. That's why the Right is willing to toss Melanie Mac and Danny-boy in as catspaws to try and demonize games with T&A, because it's a subtle hint from them to tell the boys to go and have families instead of gooning over sexy digital women.

The problem is, as I've said before, is that dating, buying homes, and having children is becoming more and more expensive. So it doesn't matter to them that video games are also getting costlier, it's still cheaper than going out, dating, buying a house, and having a family. Not to mention less stressful. So this is a case of the higher powers in politics mistaking the forest for the trees; they see a bunch of gooners blowing their loads over anime and video game chicks and seeing it as the main disease, not realizing that it's a symptom of people no longer being able to access the American dream, due to things like house-ownership and childcare being horribly expensive, especially since private equity firms bought up many homes and jacked up the price tags to squeeze every dime from future buyers, making home ownership a dream that many today cannot and will not realize.

I looked into Mac a bit more (read: just googled a couple times) because there seems to be a lot of misinformation -or more likely guesses- because barely anyone here actively follows her, myself included. She's definitely not dating Raz0r for starters. She lives in Texas, he lives in Arizona, there are pictures of her you can find right away just googling her name where she's with her current boyfriend. So Raz0r supporting her definitely isn't for romantic reasons.

There's a picture of her from when she was a teenager and I just thought "She looks kinda.. non-white there." so I looked around a bit for her ethnic background thinking she might be Jewish or Arab or something. Turns out she's originally from Hawaii and claims to be half white half native American, Cherokee specifically. Amusingly she describes herself as a tomboy in this image, and some of the comments are shitting on her for this. "Oh, so it's okay for a girl to take on masculine traits but feminine men are a no no?"

People keep talking about her thirst traps and "getting her tits out" and frankly that's a bit exaggerated. It'd be more interesting if there was so much as a single nude to post, but what we have a lot of are generic bikini shots and a lot showing off her abs. Based how padded her chest looks comparing some pictures to others, I'd 100% bet she's the type who does stuff like crossfit thinking it'll make her attractive, but actually it's given her the flapjack titties of a woman who regularly lifts weights. I think it's obvious her dislike of curvier female characters comes down purely to envy. I mean looking at it from her own religious perspective, there's nothing inherently lascivious about a woman's naturally large breasts. Those are the bodies God gave those women. I actually can understand why she's shitting on sexy vidya women; it's obvious that she's jealous of the competition. I think they'd probably discuss things behind closed doors and just not discuss BG3 at all, if someone tries that. It's way too obvious, given BG3's reputation. But it would show their hypocrisy; at the fact that Razor gets mad at something that you'd see in a comic book in the 50s or 60s, but then he gives Larian Studios a pass when they put femdom bulldykes, gay vampires, and bear sex in a video game.
