A little hypocritical considering most you all spam me with the dumb reaction button regularly with sock accounts on any of my posts daily.

Even if I post something that you all find interesting or helpful, you would still spam me with negative reactions so I don’t think you have any room to criticize me for using a negative reaction in retaliation.

This is from YouTube premium on an Australian (or New Zealand maybe) VPN endpoint. I am sure there are other countries that they offer this in.

But I get most of these issues on the mobile app as well, and there is no script/ad blocking there.

What's the point of even having youtube.com/embed/[video code here] now if half the vids have that "Video unavailable Watch on YouTube" BS?

Such BS was not an issue before BTW. Nowadays it seems to especially affect music videos, as well as Star Trek clips for some reason.

If they had channel/category black listing as an option I would consider making an account again. I find it absurd that Google just spams you with unrelated videos you won't click on, and you can't just make them stop. It's basically bad for the uploader because their impressions get hurt and it's bad for me because I basically go on youtube, listen to music, then delete my cookies and whatnot when I close the window.

I am totally convinced that Google internally has "categories", it's a pity they are not showing them in the open.

Ah, I cannot speak for the phone app, I use ReVanced when I need to watch something on my phone. It could also be the simplest answer in that YouTube is just held together with cowshit and prayers, which would track. If you are using any kind of adblocking on your phone/home network it could be a matter of those portions of the app not loading, it is a glorified browser page these days. It is obvious when you can open (even ReVanced) and the layout has been tweaked without you updating the app, that you have been selected for A/B testing of a new layout etc
