It's in response to the Mexican president imposing tarriffs
This isn't something new, countries impose tariffs on each other all the time. It's hilarious seeing nigger cattle act like the basic bitch shit any good leader does is some sort of an anomaly, just because Biden did fuck all for 4 years.

Is this what our taxpayer money was being spend on? Jesus Christ
the Vermont border agent being killed should be a good enough reason to
I've seen this story blow up with the normalfags. Trump is definitely going to do something to prove a point. Let's just hope none of the tranny terrorists are black, or Trump is going to go back to his bunker like he did in 2020 when he was too busy tweeting about "LAW AND ORDER!" instead of actually doing anything about BLM.
In aviation news...
We're going to have aviation accidents his entire term at this rate, aren't we?

I'm tired of the tariff line being touted "erm actually tariffs only hurt the host country at the end of the day" especially from fucking Canadians who have witnessed their own country's cost of living skyrocket, then they beg for more and ignore the tariffs they had (and have) before Trump took office. If people actually believed this then they wouldn't be addressing Americans and saying it constantly these past few days. Then let us fucking burn our hand on the stove and laugh at us instead of begging on your hands and knees that we're going to burn our hand.

It's so obvious it's going to hurt them more than us which is the fucking point.

How much of canadas goods are exported via american ports? I tried to figure this out on my own but dont know how to phase it. What I'm trying to get at is I wonder if trump could restrict their access to our shipping infrastucture and trade lanes to restrict their ability to sell stuff on top of tariffs.

sonora has tons of gold and copper they mine every year. is gold not worth anything now? and then chihuahua has tons of silver, plus mexico was stupid enough to put most of their factories there too.
Mexico gold production is 6th in the world
Mexico copper production is 10th
Mexico silver production is 1st

But no I don't care about any of that because it's all irrelevant. Silver doesn't drive modern economies, neither does gold, copper is honestly more useful than either in the big picture but the 10th largest copper producing country isn't

Canada and Mexico are both large gold and silver producers so I actually hope the tariffs increase prices because I have alot of gold and silver. America makes alot too though so I doubt it'll raise prices by much.

This may not answer your question but one thing many people forget is that America literally keeps shipping safe for most of the world. If we weren’t patrolling waters everywhere international shipping would be a nightmare.

The tarrifs seem to be inline with an isolationist strategy.

  • Trump pulls out of Climate agreements and foreign aid, reduces the spending on or outright leaves NATO.
  • He increases tariffs on goods coming in from abroad, pushing retaliatory tariffs on goods leaving the country as a one-two punch.
  • He cleans up waste and inefficient spending of tax payer money by slashing DEI and government employment numbers.
  • He audits the fed to reduce unnecessary tax payer spend, which offsets the loss in revenue from selling goods abroad, but makes everything Murrican much cheaper.
  • He deports all free-loaders and foreigners which are a net drain on the country.

Honestly, America becoming isolationist is the best way to save the nation. I think only the blindest of flag-waving patriots can ignore that the future does not look bright for any nation and being directly tied to as many nations as America is, will leave them footing the bill, financially or militarily.

Trump is a businessman and, if he keeps going the way he is, America will be the place to move to, live in and work for. The UK, Europe and ANZAC are being hit from all sides and without the refuge of the baltic states, straight, white, Christians have nowhere else to turn in the Anglosphere.
Trump could brain-drain the west for the good of America and the western peoples.

This could be a good thing for all concerned.
historically, playing the global policeman and empire has ALWAYS been unpopular with the US voter. always. The American Empire is the first empire to not want to be an empire and only became one out of necessity after the final destruction of the British empire after WW2 in order to counter the USSR. Now the USSR is gone, and the deep state can no longer make a convincing argument for Empire and i think that the US is going to pull back because of it.

The US is unique that due to our geography we have all the resources required within our borders. We have the oil. we have the coal. we have the rare earths (if we mined it). we have the best farm-land and river system on the planet. So we can go our own way, but will always be poised (due to our natural wealth) to reclaim the status of empire.

none of the historical empires can claim such natural wealth in their own homeland. Rome needed Gaul, Greece, Asia minor, Carthage and Egypt. The British needed their African colonies and India. Spain needed south America and Mexico. Russia needed eastern Europe. once all these empires lost their vassals they lost their ability to be a superpower. the US has it all in spades at home.

Can we send countries an invoice for American Naval protect of shipping?
I guess they can just build their own ships and systems to protect their own shipping if they want.
