Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Monday that proposed 25% tariffs to be levied by the US will be put on hold for 30 days following a phone call with President Trump.

“I just had a good call with President Trump,” Trudeau said in a post on X. “Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan — reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl. Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border.

Are you retarded? The US imports almost no raw milk. The amount of regulations to do so make it cost prohibitive. We are the second largest milk producer in the world. Second to the country that literally worships cows. We have a government organization specifically created to increase milk demand. The little dairy we import are processed products.

His weasel wording says "are and will be working on protecting the border". I bet he just rounded up the number of existing agents and isn't planning to do anything effective.

Trump needs to be vigilant on this stuff. He's probably going for fast visible wins, and taking a month to hash out the actual concessions while he has the momentum. But you can't trust cucarachas or cucked leafs to keep up their end of the bargain.

My milk, cheese, and maple syrup all come from my state. With multiple options. I could drive 30mins to one of the farms and get raw milk if i wanted it. The surrounding states all make it too. Also a qrt of 1% milk is like $1.79 so even if it DID go up 25% it wouldn't be that big of a deal.
