"Pre-emptive compliance" is just a way of portraying hospitals as weak and foolish because they won't fight for troons.

There is nothing pre-emptive about this, there have been orders and those are being followed.

Like everything troon based, it's just language manipulation to muddy the waters.

Right. And the financial calculus is not complicated for the hospitals. Keep their federal funding and federal contracts OR keep the mentally unstable cross dressing porn addicted sex perverts. I know which choice most sane people would make.

Absolutely,

Some troons are so separated from reality that they seem to think that hospitals are going to either break the rules for them or fight massive legal battles to be allowed to continue working with them.

I suspect that quite a few people in these hospitals are heaving a quiet sigh of relief now they have got a "get out" without having accusations of "twansphobia" screamed at them.

If only Tony were still on Twitter and not firmly ensconced in his BS echo chamber, I'd be really looking forward to him reacting to this detrans rate that was recently claimed by prominent troon "Amaya" Deakins:

Hi, gender affirming care expert and @wpath member here. I want to take time to remind everyone that the current #detrans rates are estimated to be+/-30 percent. This doesn't include those who #desist or continue to transition. This means that you those who detrans are valid and
(rest of thread is really not worth archiving imo).
When Tony was on Twitter he'd have made a big song and dance about "debunking" Deakins here, citing some bullshit paper with a tiny cohort size that had a couple of people drop out and claiming that to be a reliable detrans rate. The true rate of detransition - nay, for Tony, even the very existence of true detransitioners - was a constant source of conflict between him and Ben Ryan, Leor Sapir, etc.
Instead he has abdicated his deboonking responsibilities and allowed the task to fall to others, like this pooner lawyer:

I want to address this completely false 30% detransition rate claim by @amayadeakins. I was originally asked by Amaya to push this bullshit out for her. I said no. Now I’m going to share the truth about it instead. It’s being shared widely by anti-trans activists & they are running with it. Please share this to counter them. Because this is the truth:
Amaya admitted last night to all of us in a space that she completely made up this 30% figure out of her ass. That’s where it comes from. Her ass. Further, the +\- . Amaya said it literally is +\- 1-30%. That’s a really wide berth and even further shows how this is a made up claim.
The problematic part is two fold. First, Amaya claims to be a gender affirming care expert. She is not. She has been retired for over a decade & Amaya worked in prisons, not with trans people. Second, she claims this figure on behalf of @wpath as a member. She’s a member in name only. Amaya has no authority to speak on behalf of WPATH. She’s not revealing some super secret thing that WPATH has been hiding. She literally made it up & then claimed false credentials. This is highly problematic and really hurts the trans community.
We asked her to retract this last night. Since it’s still up & not being addressed, I have no choice but to do this because I know the truth about it. It’s been widely shared by anti trans activists like Chloe Cole & Billboard Chris.
What’s even MORE problematic? Amaya is now talking about going on anti-trans podcasts to promote her false research claims. This is wrong. She’s chosen this path, we gave her a chance to correct her error, and she hasn’t done it. I feel obligated to correct the record so that this stops hurting trans people.
Amaya is always talking about how many views and likes she gets. I truly believe she is doing this for the attention and fame. She has said to me she’d make more money if she were to detrans. Amaya also posted on X yesterday that she is “desisting from gender ideology,” which is even more harmful to the trans community. The term gender ideology is constantly used against us. There is no such thing as gender ideology.
Amaya, retract your bullshit claims. Stop trying to harm the trans community just because you want to get attention and fame. This is very harmful & toxic
Tony, where art thou? Your community needs propaganda clean-up (as the pooner says, this is being retweeted by *gasp* Chloe Cole and Billboard Chris, some of the worst of the worst) and you're nowhere to be found, and they need you right in the thick of it too, over on Twitter where the transphobes are running roughshod over the few remaining brave warriors who have stayed to fight the hate. Why are you not among them?

"Do not comply in advance" was an NPC meme that went around a while ago and now they've bounced it back and forth between each other so many times that it's constantly being referenced and rephrased.

The basic idea was that under an authoritarian system people shouldn't "comply" unless they have to, at the point of a gun or under threat of arrest or whatever. "Do not comply in advance" was telling people to not go along with authoritarians before that because it will make it harder to enforce the rules.

What the troons don't understand is that the hospitals are not complying out of some fear of jackbooted thugs will come and storm their offices soon. They have simply weighed things up and realized that it's not worth the trouble. The troons think they can wave some "don't comply in advance!" signs and the hospital admin will get a swell of courage that overcomes their fear of Trump and then they will be able to follow their principles (helping "trans kids").

But it's not fear that's stopping them, and their "principles" are more along the lines of "Is this going to lose us money in the long run? What's the PR on this? What do our lawyers say?" Some men in skirts are not going to change any of that, if anything they'll just convince everyone that the trans thing is terrible PR and optics.

I got into an argument with some troon a while back, they were on some “We don’t need the public’s approval for this medical care” bullshit, and that’s a pretty common sentiment. The fucking arrogance that these people have is astounding. Yes, sweetie, you do need to convince us that paying for cosmetic gendie-feels surgery through our taxes and insurance premiums is worth it. This person said it’s none of our business if private insurances cover it, as if these companies decided to fund these treatments out of the goodness of their hearts.

These “If you don’t choose us over Medicare bux, we’ll…be really mad at you!” protests are the cherry on top. They’re so used to threatening to kill themselves and getting their way immediately. They’re not prepared for everyone to go “Okay, and?”

It's funny because you know that WPATH is an activist organisation, so they'll try to underplay the detrans numbers, not the other way around. I'd assume the regret rate is actually higher than 30%.

Tony is really looking like shit in his videos.

Garbage Pail Kids, Where are they Now?
Don't you dare compare. Garbage Pail Kids were ugly on the outside but on the inside they had hearts of gold. They helped Dodger stand up to his bully Juice and they even helped out a fashion show with their keen sewing skills.

Except for the garbage can at Erin's wedding, there is no connection.

The problem with trying to ascertain an accurate regret rate is that people have made a massive sacrifice that they generally can't step back from and go back to normality.

It's kinda like an audiophile spending $15,000 on loudspeaker cables - they swear blind that they can hear the difference, whilst everyone else is sat there with bemused expressions.

Once you have made that ultimate investment, it's very hard to face up to having been wrong and even harder to admit to other people you were wrong.

If the 42% suicide rate is to be believed, then that would be a good regret indicator.

Exactly !

We're two weeks into the Trump "genocide" and the result has been massively.... underwhelming.

Where are the emergency imports of body bags?
Where are all the streets piled three deep with the lifeless bodies of "trans kids"?
Where are all the armed groups fighting shoulder to shoulder with their trans brothers and sisters?
Where are the nationwide deployment of death camps?

It's almost like someone has said "hush now, grownups talking..."

That 1% figure that they keep on claiming is so suspicious even if you aren't already skeptical about gender medicine. If someone claimed that only 1% of people regretted their last haircut I would be suspicious (it would mean that a barber only gives 1 bad haircut every two weeks), and that's a "procedure" that at worst means you wasted $50 and you look weird for a couple months. Meanwhile, the absolute best case scenario for SRS is that costs a year's rent and you'll spend a couple weeks recovering... if everything goes absolutely perfectly. Even if you have no complications and you think your neo-genitals look fine... were they really worth all that time and money and pain? Maybe some trannies think so, maybe even the majority of trannies think so. But 99%? That's absolutely ridiculous and completely unbelievable... unless you really want to believe it.

I tried looking up regret rates for various surgeries, but every single for the first three Google pages was about SRS and I wanted a source that wasn't going to be affected by this framing.

If the order is "illegal", why is nobody suing over it?

Do you ever think these things through before sharing your absolutely retarded hot takes?

LMAO at this photo from the protest:

A Palestinian and a fucking Lebanese flag. No one seeing/hearing the protest would have had any idea what the fuck the demonstration was even about. Good job wasting everyone's time and disturbing some hospital patients who were trying to rest, fatties.

They missed out the "Lesbians against Broccoli" and "Equal Rights for Brackets" flags.

This appears to be what happens when you use habitual protesters because you haven't got enough of your own.

Are all three flags on the same mast? This is kind of fascinating psychologically because it resembles social media profiles sections which some people cram with flags and symbols. Real-life objects as duplicates of your online life which already seems to be as they treat their bodies.

Imagine you’re there because someone you love has a real problem like cancer or burns or broken bones and you gotta walk past these assholes. Speedrun to creating enemies, any %. Shut down the roads next y’all, people love that shit.

Flying the Palestinian and Lebanese flag is pure gold. “Hey, we’re trying to appeal to hospital admin, doctors and lawyers in New York City, what should we add?”
