The DOGE team is shutting down the Federal siphon to the Lutheran church. Atheists, people who used to cry the loudest to "tax the churches", now cry in agony.
I hope DOGE do the
Episcopal Church pronto. The Episcopal Church are human traffickers on American taxpayers' dough.
As a Lutheran I approve this action, especially if it's ELCA based or one of the other woke heretic synods. But even LCMS doesn't need taxpayer handouts for this. The Episcopal Church is
even worse in terms of being woke.

Bob's not wrong that Canadians would overwhelmingly vote Blue. If they portioned out the individual provinces/territories as states, then British Columbia, Quebec (unless they let them separate), Newfieland and Nova Scotia, and Manitoba would be overwhelmingly (D). Alberta and maybe Saskatchewan would be (R) and Ontario and New Brunswick would be "swing states". The Territories (Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and Yukon) would be (D). However, if Drumpf set foot, he would NOT be dead within hours of setting foot on our soil, because the majority of Leafs are not allowed to own guns (and the ones that are, can't take them out of their locked safes to do anything other than take them to the range or go hunting, without risk of severe penalties). And I doubt some Brampton/Toronto gangbanger who's getting their guns from smuggling over the border is going to take a shot at drumpf. And if MOS is fantasizing about someone or several someones just getting in there and beating the shit out drumpf to death in minecraft, they forget not only do the Secret Service exist, THEY
always carry guns, and
aren't afraid to use them.

it's always bad when a Church relies on the Government for Money. "State Churches" in Europe which are funded by the government, totally destroyed them. State Churches are more woke and liberal than most churches in North America (except the highly woke ELCA/ELCIC for the Lutherans, Episcopalians, and Metropolitan Community Church (of the LGBT+-WTFBBQ).
I dunno, but as a Lutheran, I say it's about time. The church has gotten increasingly liberal over the past few decades, and a lot of that is in line with the "you have to let refugees in because the Bible said be compassionate somewhere" meme. So the fact that not only were they extracting funds from churchgoers for this sort of shit, but were also milking taxpayers for it? Good riddance, I hope these stupid programs collapse and we stop having to hear about them.
yeah even the LCMS is starting to get pozzed in places. Good thing LCC (Lutheran Church Canada) is fairly sane as synods go.

I could do a whole rant on the faggotry in the modern Lutheran church, but it can honestly be summarized by just telling you to think of whatever feel-good lefty bullshit you can and then assume that the leadership is all for that. I'm thankful I have a more traditional pastor, but he's getting older and probably going to retire within the next few years, so who knows if we'll get lucky with a replacement.
Yeah, having Lutheran ministers (including in the USA) in the family, I have read all kinds of BS that was going on even in the 1930s, and a little publication called
Christian News reported and continues to report on faggotry in the ELCA, LCMS, and other synods. Hell, the ELS and WELS synods makes LCC look like "liberals" (but we're not lol), so maybe they're OK still? Some of them knew a certain Rev. Herman W. Otten really well, so we were in the know for years of what was going on. What really ground my gears is when Concordia University in Edmonton decided to unhitch itself from the Lutheran Church entirely and pretty much become secular and started hiring woke bullshit teachers and having woke bullshit courses.
I'm thankful I have a more traditional pastor, but he's getting older and probably going to retire within the next few years, so who knows if we'll get lucky with a replacement.
If you are LCMS, get them to call a Canadian minister from a Lutheran Church Canada congregation as the two are in fellowship (NOT ELCIC - this is basically Evangelical Lutheran Church In Canada - ELCA for Leafs - "Martin Luther had a Church, E-L-C-I-C! "to the tune of "Old MacDonald Had A Farm") or a Candidate from Concordia Seminary (Edmonton) when dude retires. You'll thank me later. The young guy we got as a candidate a bunch of years ago is pretty traditional.
