It remains amusing to me how much Bob hates Drinker when he's hardly the megachud that he likes to paint him as. In his video on the Fantastic 4 trailer, Drinker said that it actually looked good to him, minus a couple parts he was unsure about, and that it surprisingly looked like a movie that was unashamed of its source material unlike the vast majority of the MCU. But he left it with a caveat of wondering if it was too little, too late, given how the MCU has been on something of a downswing in recent years, and even if it's good, it might not be enough to win over people who gave up already.

Bob wouldn't be aware of this, of course, happily keeping the "dead-eyed beardo doing slurs" stereotype in his head for everyone he hates.

Again, Bob is not a genius prognosticator. Anyone with half a brain (so, smarter than Bob) would be able to call that, if the Fantastic 4 ever ended up in the MCU, they'd have to do some major bullshitting to work them in somehow. As one of the cornerstones of the Marvel universe, explaining their absence for over two decades would necessitate some reason why they weren't around, and given the multiverse angle they pivoted towards, it's obvious that's what they'd choose to explain it.

I know that nobody at Disney even knows who Bob is, but the thought of them taking a fat retard's ideas without credit does amuse me a bit. All that bootlicking and they still won't hire you!

Been trying to do a second episode of "Shitting on MovieBob's Ideology" about his "Thinkers vs Belivers" shit, but been feeling too sick to sick down and put the work in. Lemme hit a couple of the key points I want to address when I finally write it:

* Very basic False Dichotomy fallacy that even a child could understand the flaws of.
* "Thinking" and "Believing' aren't mutually exclusive.
* Being a "thinker" or a "believer" doesn't automatically make you smart or dumb.
* The whole thing is obviously stupid, but Bob clings to it because he's a narcissist with no actual accomplishments to cling to, so he makes up a way to feel superior to people.

I want to go into a little more detail with these points later, but that's the gist of it. Any other ideas for episode topics?
