You know humans are too weak to resist the temptation of such technology, when it becomes available.
I'll will be like the smartphone. Adoption will be gradual, but very soon you'll barely be able to function in society without one. It will be too much of a disadvantage.

If I'm alive by then, I'll be like those human body purists from Deus Ex. Fuck that shit. Fuck AI. Fuck smartphones.
I'm actually not convinced it's commercially viable. I could be wrong but it's not build an adapter for a bio computer to connect to the internet but rather build an adapter for like 8 billion fundamentally different bio computers. I'm not certain they'll ever be able to standardize the practice to the degree required to industrialize it. If every Iphone had to be lovingly crafted each one unique to the end user it's unlikely they would ever have caught on outside of the ultra rich

Libs trying to figure out when free speech dosent apply to censorship (direct threats of violence will do the trick)
Look Corn Pop, if we gave him a second term, he *might* have figured this one out in the middle of it, 6 years in office. Instead, we now have an orange tyrant that banned all free speech and ruined it for everyone. Are you happy now?
Remember why this is happening. What could have happened.View attachment 6939878
American Culture is centered around...
His supporters act like he did for the most altruistic reasons. In reality he did for the most selfish reason and changed absolutely nothing in regards to the insurance industry, it was just rich on rich violence. I hope he gets raped with a broom handle in the penitentiary. he'd probably enjoy it if rumors are true. Its why I cant take the sentiment of "the elites need to fear the plebs" seriously that stemmed from the whole situation.
While i do agree that he is just a happy accident, as far as competency of the far left is concerned, I am also not completely against normalizing such violence against the elites. Do you really think anyone here would cry if someone did the same thing to anyone at WEF or to Soros? Somehow, I doubt it. Let these morons eat each other alive, as long as that's one less potential school shooting that's fine by me, two birds with one stone. We already got antifa openly turning on the jews, something the right wing could only dream of doing in public, only a matter of time until the golem turns on the same people who created it. This "Luigi" business just accelerates that.

Of course, this isn't a fedpost. Only a fucking idiot would throw away their entire life for an unlikely opportunity to murder anyone, let alone rich and powerful who no doubt have armed guards. So in other words, a radical leftist.

Have any more info on that 24-hour year story? Sounds interesting.
I've been trying to track down archives (in the vein of 4plebs where it's a live archive) of 420chan boards for years, even before it went down for seemingly good. If anyone knows one, or at least knows any very exhaustive manual archives, I'd love to see it. It would've been on the deliriants board.

The thread was a barely coherent series of schizoposts about a drug that, based on skimming a few articles and documents about EA-3167 after reading the post I replied to, seems to have been that. I say schizoposts not because they were totally incoherent (because you could follow the gist of what anon was saying), but because they were using that kind of idiosyncratic and very insistent jargon that schizophrenics use, like Terry A. Davis' "glownigger." I distinctly remember finding it preposterous that someone could've taken a drug, even a deliriant that he claimed permanently fried his brain, but not remembered what it even was months later, which is why I assumed it was either bad pasta or a run-of-the-mill schizophrenic who wandered into /del/.

I've seen people permafry their brains through deliriants and psychedelics, and they will always at least know what drug did it. That was the only time I've ever read a "post-mortem" trainwreck trip where the reporter couldn't even remember what he took, that long afterwards, and was trying to get someone to tell him what it might have been. It's one thing when some dipshit yolos 2 grams of DPH and forgets he took it for a day or five, but that was something else entirely.

Gamergate really did duck the respectability of journalists in a way nobody could have expected.

Sargon deserves to at this point.

It's a case where the coverup was worse than the crime. Before the Quinnspiracy you had a lot of gamers idly wondering what was up with coverage of games but it was always a nagging doubt. Then the Zoepost drops, and the woman sounds the alarm because she was up to some kids and of shady shit.

Cue the game journos using their mailing group to drop articles en masse of gamers being dead, and almost every site blacklisting conversations about it. You had sites that never agreed on anything all blocking shit out. It made anyone paying attention realize that there was no way this kind of group was only in the backwater market of games journalism.

Thus, when the same tactics were used 2 years later during Trump's campaign? You had a lot of disaffected young men instantly seeing the same shit and using the same meme warfare. There's a reason why Zoey and Anita don't get recognized much now: they caused the journalist class to blow their load prematurely.
To be fair, if you believe corner gossip, the journalist class WELCOMED gamergate purely as a test run on censoring the Internet ahead of Hillary running in '16, since they were itching for a chance to test out their censorship apparatus. And while they were caught flat footed unable to use it for Hillary, it worked 100% as intended during covid and the 2020 election.

This shit made me start really noticing any flurry of news/headlines/articles using the exact same key words and phrases. I had never noticed it before, and afterwards I couldn't stop seeing it as a telltale sign of psyop bullshit.
Such a weird thing to cause such a longlasting change.

So what are the over/under odds Trump executive order kills Reddit over this shit? And Bluesky too.
Actually directly killing them outright? Zero.
Getting them to become so overly zealous in moderation that the sites' userbases have a great upheaval? Very non-zero. I'd give it probably a 10% chance.
Making blatant fedposting bannable? Probably likely. 80% IMO.

"70% of kids and 20% of staff are illegals, this place would collapse without us"
No, you fucking retard, the place would be better off. Without those 70% of kids, the 20% of illegal teachers wouldn't be needed.

Return to a dozen kids per teacher.
I dont understand how you can even have illegals as teachers. Every teacher/staff goes through an FBI background check so even if you used a fake social security number you wouldnt pass the background/finger print check.

Are we going to see Weegee associated with cringy redditors who have TDS and EDS now? Add that to the list of things reddit ruined, Christ
God he's so fucking stupid

Did I mention how satisfying it is to not just finally see these people suffer the consequences of their actions, but also to see it done so quickly? Government that works the way it's supposed to is a wonder to behold.

Does anyone else feel like that the excommunication of Vivek after his H1B meltdown was the trial by fire that the right needed to separate the neocons from the True Card Carrying nationalists?

It feels like this is the most right wing the republicans have been for a while, I rarely see any conservative make the “muh legal” immigration argument for a while and in my personal life A boomer at my work was talking about Troons and fags in the same way we do on here which was kind of surprising to me

I don’t know it might be a bit :optimistic: but it seems like for conservatives are learning how to fucking win

I'm very optimistic I honestly expect the democratic party to either collapse or remake themselves as a sort of doing the speed limit MAGA party in the next 20 years

So is this Luigi guy like their version of Rittenhouse*, but they're trying very hard to make him a folk hero?

* In their eyes, I mean. - Added to avoid possible confusion.
Luigi was a very special situation of a man pushed to the limit after a botched medical surgery and decided to take action when he felt there was absolutely no recourse. Health Insurance is a genuinely evil industry, with far more blood on it's hands than any other industry you can come up with. He outright stated in his manifesto that he did not take pleasure in ending the life of another man an never wished harm upon an innocent person, and his decision to do this was something he weighed heavily.

Redditors saw this prinicpled man, and decided to compare him to a Video Game Character. Putting on stupid little mario hats and making memes about it. Putting edits on tiktok. And of course, they look at what he did and think it's the same to do it against a democratically elected official and the people he appointed, including autistic teenagers.

Redditors want him to be their folk hero, but they are mentally immature and if asked luigi would probably be disgusted by them.
