Might be premature but the player count is beginning to decline from its peak. It might rise again in a few hours perhaps, or it'll hit 160k over the weekend. I still don't think it'll break 200k today.

I know people bring up the 2hr refund window but on new games Steam is often quite generous on what they will refund. If it's a new game and within 2 weeks you can still get the refund more than not. This includes games that go over the 2hr mark as I've done it myself many times.

No reason to, but they wanted to. Maybe they wanted to include even more faggotry, since it's their game and they're allowed to do that, but hypocrisy and obfuscation of the matter were definitely implemented to trick people into buying - I know I would've bought the game otherwise. Vazra thought he was compromising with the anti-gay crowd by not going overboard with it, achieving a ratio that favours normalcy over any deviancy (5 straight sex scenes to 1 gay sex scene, or something). They also probably wanted to stuff even more blacks in as well but compromised with just the one. To some people, achieving a compromise is enough to constitute a win politically. Especially to Centrists like Grummz. They think a ratio favouring normalcy, accuracy and catering to people who actually buy and play games at a high enough value is then enough to make allowances for wokeshit, even though it's inclusion is not at all necessary for the quality of the product. It's an improvement over something being completely subsumed in the mire of faggotry, but a principled person wouldn't stand for the inclusion at all if they're aligned against the Left and the like, and especially since the inclusion was hidden at all which is just self-incriminating.

A part of me does think Embracer had a small hand in it. I would blame Musa's inclusion on them (and his dialogue) but the gay stuff and Jew stuff is on Vavra.
