Why does he sleep with the lights on

Austin hasn't been in a dark room with the lights off in over 100 days while in jail. Lights out dont mean lights out. Just the main ones. A lot of people come out of jail and start sleeping with the lights on. Either from gettnig used to it, just like normal people are used to sleeping in the dark, or out of a new fear of the dark from jail/prison.

Austin has not leaked many details of his time in jail. its not like before when it was a little quick stay. This one really got to him. Before he has said he was in the dorm housing, which is a lot more chill and he had never even said the word "cell" when discussing jail. Already yesterday he has mentioned things like "i just slept all day in the cell" or "waking up in a cell theres nothing to do" shit like that. This leads me to believe this time around he got stuck in a 2 person cell in the cell blocks and not the low security dorms. During this he likely retreated to his cell all day while his cellmate and pod mates all hung out in the common areas.
