This reminds me of the fact that several people reluctant to realize things have a tendency to believe that only the most woke content can be woke, and that woke content is only a matter of what's on your plate, as opposed to what's going on in the kitchen. They just aren't used to subversion and normalization tactics. Omitting the fact of or ignorance of the developers' attitudes and reactions to the community is the biggest reason why people are rejecting the idea that KCD2 is woke, when ironically it's the strongest reason why the game itself is woke.

As I've said before, it would've been so easy to have most of the gay and brown content remain as-is without the game being woke, and perspective and attitude are why woke even begins in the first place. After all, negative consequences for being gay IS historically accurate, and letting the player have gay options can still be implemented under the sheer motivation of player and sandbox freedom. That being said, I don't really think that Razorfist or Melonie Mac are really correct about anything, and I feel like anyone believing they are is just feeling the need to point a finger towards someone being "right" about the whole thing, To me, it seems less about religious people and gooners and more about how necessary heavy skepticism and a "not even once" attitude towards freedom and novelty-oriented content are, because of the sociopolitical opposition we all face being as severe, secretive, and underhandedly manipulative as they are and have been.

I am one step ahead. I won't even pirate KCD2 since I would still pay the devs with my time in a way. No, if I feel the itch of running around medieval Bohemia, there is always the first, untainted game to play.

I've heard that mansa musa is a plot relevant character unfortunately. I recently... Acquired it out of curiosity and was planning on doing a medieval drive-by once getting my hands on a handgonne. Disappointing. Still going to see if I can do it or if they made him immortal.
Bring back "with this thread of fate severed.." I enjoyed the first game. Despite finding the combat controls to be asinine. I wish the game would just let me bind attack directions to keys instead of having to mildly turn my retical to change swing direction. Always bothered me. My age of chivalry muscle memory got me killed more than a few times lol.
