I played it for a bit, it doesn't really feel like anything new compared to the first one. Combat system is as shitty as ever, I can already tell combat is going to suck for the entire game until you get whatever the master strike is in this one, just like the last one. Not sure if I will have the motivation to continue.

At one point during my playthrough so far I was walking along the road and some guy ran up and attacked me out of nowhere, I defended myself against him, and some random passerby decided to call the guards on me for murder. I ended up killing him too just to save myself the trouble, but I wasn't trying to be the type of guy who just murders random people, sucks to be me I guess.

At the end of KCD1 you're a master swordsman, strong, lots of stamina, knowledgeable in alchemy and horseriding, then you start this game with nothing again really ruined it for me from the get go. Even if I have to lose all my money and gear and shovel shit again, fine, can I at least remember how to master strike so the combat isn't so shit...

As many have pointed out, if butt-fucking Hans is ”just a choice“ and doesn’t make the game woke, then pronouns are “just a choice”….trans surgery scars in the character creator are ”just a choice”.

So I’m totally with you that if Avowed‘s worst point is just a LGBTQd-out character creator, it’s actually going to be a lot less offensive than Vavra’s gay pedo fantasy.

Besides even if Avowed is just a low-effort Skyrim-lite, it’s still going to be more enjoyable than Kingdom Cum: Delivered in your Ass 2 just because it actually has some magic and fantasy. I always thought Daniel Cuckvra marketed his dumb game as “hardcore realistic” only because his team lacked the skill to properly implement magic in the world, so they just made an autistic CUMmunist turnip-farming, herb-gathering and cow-punching medieval simulator.

Its amazing how many people fell for it, just like they fell for the lie of Vavra being “based”.

Once we get through the few weeks of stupid hype for this CUMmunist slavjank game, 2025 probably won’t be so bad after all. Avowed might be ok, Skyblivion will finally be released and Bethesda might actually drop the official Oblivion remake (as long as they can resist the temptation to make it woke, it will wipe the floor with KCD).

Plus this year we’re going to get Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon, a scrollslike/soulslike hybrid with a free demo on Steam now that already looks very promising. This game probably deserves its own thread soon.

Looking forward, Witcher 4 will undoubtedly be better and less cringe than KCD2 no matter how hard they push the “girl boss Ciri” aspect. Blood of Dawnwalker will shit on KCD2 as well.

This dumb era of cucks glazing Big Gay Dan over KCD2 will be DEAD and BURIED soon.

His claim that having a sex scene with the 15 year old Hans is fine because women got married and had kids at 12 all the time back then is actually quite false, even among noblewomen. A bride being too young- under around 16 or so- when she had her first child was heavily discouraged, as it was noted that particularly young mothers were much more likely to suffer complications during birth and possibly become sterile or die. This isn't even getting into the commonly held belief that  children born to particularly young mothers were smaller, weaker, and sicklier on average, which probably had truth in them due to their mother's reproductive system and body not being fully developed when carrying them. Peasant women's first marriages tended to occur between the ages of 17 and 25, accounting for the fact that her family would have to work to scrounge up money for the dowry, while marriages among the upper class were younger on average but still tended to wait until both parties were of age- around 15 or 16.

Marriages (not betrothals, which were different) where one or both parties were very young were a rarity that only tended to happen in extenuating circumstances like war or bankruptcy, and the consummation would be put off until both parties came of age. Twelve year olds getting married and having children was not normal at any point in medieval history, and the latter was considered downright repugnant. You'd think that Vavra, who has been constantly sucking himself off about how Historically Accurate™ this game is, would know that, instead of immediately jumping to George R. R. Martin-tier logic and falsehoods in order to justify his sequel having Henry stick his dick in a fifteen year old boy. Considering all of the other massive historical liberties he's taken with the game, though, I think I was asking too much from him.
