They have to be. IIRC, some car manufacturer lost a lawsuit over a car accident, some jewish lawyer blamed the not-bright-enough headlights, and away they went.

Yet they also cause car accidents. Perhaps having every dash be a giant bright iPad screen negatively affects your attentiveness and night vision. It's not like they could make bright LEDs that aren't also the highest energy intensity white light that wouldn't be as terrible at night. In Europe, there's even a technology that will actively DIMM the individual LEDs to avoid other cars, but it's not legal in the US IIRC.

I don't buy the narrative that we're seeing a changed Trump because he had to take a term off or because of the assassination attempt

Contrary to popular belief, I don't think Trump will run for a third term, so his second term was always going to be the "pull no punches, no consequences" term, with great purges, funding slashes, and huge reforms because he doesn't have to worry about losing anybody's vote, party support or being called a dictator since he isn't going to run again.

I think the only difference is that in addition to trying to do anything he ever wanted to do as President, he's actively undoing the last 4 years of Biden

I mean, it's already been normalized, so mission kinda-sorta accomplished.

Between Musk and Vivek opening their big fat mouths before Trump's inauguration, that opened up that can of worms to where almost everyone on X was dunking on Indians.

The only downside to Trump's massive wins is that all that trash talking stopped, when IMO it should continue until they take a hint and go away forever.
