The Sims 4

Nervous having a real name is kinda cool, but I don't like that Olive has another husband that's also Nervous stepfather. It's a good thing TS4 takes place in an alternate universe (while also fucking it). Also why is Nervous a nigger now? He was white in TS2.
Cus Olive and whole family black, so Nervous black too, gotta reflect the genes ACCURATELY! But wasn't the pale skin and very gaunt face in 2 supposed to show there was something off with him?

EA can add all the genderspecial sims they want in the game. I don't care, I will change their genders, bodies, skin colors, and even names. I have cas.fulleditmode and I'm not afraid of using it!
Tumblrinas and redditors get assmad when they find out someone changed the pre-made sims' gender and skin tone. It's stupid, everyone is allowed to play the game however they want.

FreeSO will be shutting down their servers next month. Although based on experience that some KFers had with the game, it may not be that big of a loss when the servers go down.
I played it a couple of years ago and it's boring af. No one interacted with eachother, not to mention jannies can kick you out for making your sim cause mischief such as selling other players paintings. No fun allowed basically.
I imagine it wasn't much better when EA originally handled the game. Fuck The Sims Online and especially fuck trannies who took over it a decade later.

I stopped playing it when it stopped updating..
It stopped updating when they put pride items in..
The community got bored af, because the only people hanging around were trannines and the stay at homers got scared off by them.
Seriously, there's nothing to do at a certain point because the only thing to do is earn money and there's only so much that you can do with money.
With no community to engage with keeps people from staying. Back in 2008, people would just throw stupid events for fun, but I really ever saw any of that on FreeSO.

The internet in 2024 is far far more hostile and toxic to navigate. FreeSO really had no chance of staying.

EA accidentally made the prices of the 2 Creator kits $10, instead of $5. They did respond and say that they will refund people that were overcharged, so that players can purchase the kits at the correct price:

And it appears that the Creators get 5% commission on each Kit sale, which is pathetically low, since there surely isn't millions of Simmer whales that would buy those things.

I do wonder if SatchOnSims will troon out one day, since The Sims has always been more popular with women than men, and him wearing lipstick (?) like that doesn't help.

EA Posted their Behind The Scenes video of the game's 25th anniversary:

EA released a patch for TS4 today, which includes an updated menu that looks shockingly similar to Fortnite's menu, some bug fixes that probably won't work, and revamps to the Base Game family houses.

The game's logo has also be updated, for the worse:

A Blast From The Past event will start next month:

A board game based on The Sims may be a thing, as it was accidentally leaked:

They also hint at something big on 2/25, but considering it's EA, expect it to be a big nothing:

Also, since Project Rene has been in development for 7 (?) years now, how bad are the developers that are working on it to work at such a slow pace? Or does EA know that it's going to suck, and have quietly stopped production of it?

Itd be really funny if a multi bazillion dollar company somehow manged to fuck up making a game harder than yandere dev ngl

Love how the packaging says 8+ when the only people who will be excited about this are millennial women with (undiagnosed) autism

The Gameplay Reveal for Business and Hobbies is out, and it is definitely just Get to Work Part 2:
You're right, it's literally Get to Work part 2, ten years later.
And don't tell me you still have to talk to customers for three hours nonstop to convince them to buy a $2 muffin.

The Perk System in B&H is also very lacking compared to TS2 Open for Business. To think that they couldn't just copy the Rally Forth perk and put it into B&H, because things "just have to be different".
