Really, this is the kind of video he should have sent to a friend to ask for a second opinion, they tell him "this is a bad idea," and then he scraps it. Instead, he's charging into a battle he barely understands. He thinks if he says "DUMB" or "IDIOT" forcefully enough that it'll compensate for the shortcomings in his argumentation. It's really sad to see him fall for this.

He gives the impression that he'd ignorantly write off my post as "another anti-woke Christian homophobe who hasn't even played the games" despite being wrong on almost every point.

It seems to me that lately Upper Echelon been trying to distance himself from the anti-woke grifter crowd (the kind that pumps out retarded videos about random tweets by the dozen every day) by attempting to have more nuanced takes, but here he just went straight (homosexual?) contrarian.
If he couldn't be bothered to properly research the matter, he shouldn't have made the video, especially something as brazen where he dismisses critics as "idiots" without actually engaging with their arguments. Felt like he had to say something but couldn't be arsed to do the work.

Afaik he regards it as serviceable at best, which I agree with (there's aspects like ship building and some of the planet exploration stuff that I liked, got cool screenshots out of it, gunplay wasn't terrible but overall the game is subpar, pirated the game btw). Not that it's a good game, let alone an evolution of Bethesda formula.

The thing about Vavra is that it’s not just the usual (((early life))) factors, it’s the fact that he’s a Czechfag of a certain age.

Ive met a few Czech people, and there always seems to be something off about the ones that are over 40. The completely normal ones are usually under 30.

I guess so many Czech guys were enjoying getting rammed in the ass by the occupying Russian troops that they had to make it legal.

And just like other Soviet bloc countries, the Czechs were importing various third world filth from countries like Cuba and Angola while preaching that the USA were evil racists.

So Vavra is basically some faggot loser who grew up in CUMmunist deprivation amidst shortages of chocolate, bananas and toilet paper and getting brainwashed by Marxism. That fat faggot is born in 1975, so he would have already been around 14 years old when CUMmunism ended. To be totally honest... I think this is a case of incompetence rather than palm-rubbing malice. I think the woke retards who plotted the gay romance forgot, or never knew, the fact that one of the characters is a historical figure who is stated to be 15 in the codex. I mean, the illustration in the codex is of a teenager. Anyone with eyes can see that. The in-game model looks like an adult.

Anyway, either the gayfags who wrote the gay shit in did not do their jobs properly (these types never do) and were not aware of the facts of who they are even writing about, or/and Vulva did not catch this and correct it because he missed a stand-up where the team discussed their roadmap because he was too busy getting pounded in the ass at a local gay bar.

(Couldn't directly reply to your post for some reason) Yeah, I see this doing the rounds periodically and I have to admit that it has made me ponder the matter, mainly due to there being a difference between classical Marxism and the more recent, more toxic, Cultural Marxism, which instead focuses on race, gender, etc, rather than class.

I've also been somewhat baffled how literal Communist countries in the east remained ethno-states, when the ideology they followed encourages intermingling with other races and cultures. I can only put it down to the time era, where it wasn't as easy to import millions of immigrants from halfway across the globe into another country as it is today.

Yeah you‘re probably right that up until 1989 it was a bit harder to move migrants around. In Western countries there were probably overall less migrants then too.

The Soviet bloc definitely wasn’t trying to maintain ethnostates though. In many East European countries you’ll find a substantial Vietnamese community, from what I know they were brought there from Communist Vietnam between 1975 - 89.

KCD 1 was pure shit, both from a technical perspective and due to its flawed attempt at 'historically accurate gameplay.' The exploration was shit, the saving mechanics were shit, and the combat was utter dogshit.

The only reason the game became a commercial success was due to Vávra's position as one of the few developers who took a pro-gamer stance during the loosely organized misogynistic online harassment campaign motivated by a right-wing backlash against feminism, diversity, and progressivism in video game culture known as "Gamer Gate".

He was actually one of the OG grifters: his mildly successful Kickstarter project became overnight a cash machine. Of course all the usual suspects (Quartering, etc.) promoted his shit game. No wonder the same boomers are circling the wagons for him this time again. Those same intellectuals do not really mind nignog cuckoldry and child sodomy in their sequel as half of them have been outed as discord groomers, while the other half has decreed long ago that white genocide, bull prepping and H1-B visas were BASED and ELON-PILLED.

To his credit, Vávra did manage to deliver a complete product (though it was quite broken at launch) and didn't disappear with the funds, unlike many of his fallen comrades in the fight to the death for ethics in video games journalism.
