Most Overrated Person Of All Time Debate Thread

Abraham Lincoln. He is the first and most consequential nigger loving SJW in American history, a traitor to the nation and his race, and he's to blame for 13/50.
Nah, this is the obvious answer. It can't be him. Abolishing slavery is pretty good and he's not really hyped up much because he's white, and thus blacks still consider him a racist cracka.

Let's get a real answer going... Okay I got it 100%: Jesus. I win. Thread over.

Mary gets pregnant after cucking Joseph. Joseph is like yo wtf?! She says nah dw I'm a virgin, God did it. Joseph is actually DUMB ENOUGH to believe her LOL!!!! Hence the entire following tale.

Abolishing slavery was good, granting niggers equality and setting them loose upon Whites was not good. If he shipped them to Africa or sent them to Mexico it'd be a little different, but it still wasn't worth waging Civil War over.

Since nothing specified it had to be a positive, just overrated, I'd go with Adolf Hitler. He's always some kind of superlative, "most evil", "worst killer", "most destructive", etc. He wasn't even any of those in his own era. WWII is only the most destructive war in history if you include all the theaters, even the one he was not involved in. The Japanese on the other side of the world were doing all kinds of shit, and the Soviets were killing a lot of their own in addition to fighting the Germans. Stalin and Mao had higher body counts than him, even excluding WWII. Stalin even successfully erased a few cultures through population transfers, assimilation, and genocide, while anyone targeted by Hitler is still around and even thriving. And when you consider the rest of history, the Mongol conquests and almost any conflict involving China since 1600 were deadlier than the Germans in WWII.

Ted Kaczynski and Charles Manson. People like to throw their names around to be edgy and freak out normies. But most people under the age of 30 have no idea who the first one is. No one under the age 35 knows who the second one is. If you want to freak out the normies you have to use someone everyone knows. That would be Hitler. Everyone knows who he is.

I think in the modern Western historical canon this reputation has more to do with his ideology and who he targeted and why, more than the actual outcomes. If he were in a position to do so, he would have wiped all of those groups from the face of the Earth. And the funny part is, if he succeeded, we'd be talking about it a lot less these days, because nobody cares about a successful genocide.
