pink floyd. so many people get incredibly bent out of shape if you dare to say that pink floyds music wasnt really even that great, and that "the wall" was honestly nothing but a bunch of stupid baby boomer whiny bullshit. its true though, the movie was trash, and most of their music is mediocre, at best.

Abolishing slavery was good, granting niggers equality and setting them loose upon Whites was not good. If he shipped them to Africa or sent them to Mexico it'd be a little different, but it still wasn't worth waging Civil War over.

:neckbeard:

Lincoln as far as I've seen actually wanted to send the slaves to Africa. In this he stood against both the North and the South. The modern racists love the South when Lincoln was their guy standing like a lone figure against the might of both sides who wanted to keep and use the slaves in their own way.

There's always an "overrated person" but for me right now it's Ryan Reynolds. Just FUCK OFF man he doesn't have to be in every single god damn movie! I wanted to hear MARIO in the Mario movie not this guy! Charles Martinet got done dirty on that deal and you can't tell me otherwise he's been the voice of mario for almost 20 years and to make it up to him Nintendo made up a bullshit "ambassador" position for him and didn't tell him what it was and i'm pretty sure he got in trouble for saying he had no idea what it meant on twitter too to make it even worse.

George Carlin most of his good comedian bits are literally just pointing out how power walks and mocking it but all of his politics will literally liberal nonsense any time he was confronted about anything.

There's this one Nick Ruddick female poet that is celebrated widely in the US but your actual poetry is God awful.

Ezra pound his thoughts on fascism were much more interesting than his poetry like all poets of the time is poetry's aggressively mediocre.

George RR Martin I used to think he was an extremely talented writer but the more I've read the more I realize he's an extremely overly hyped basically hack of a writer

Obama.
I still remember being told I was on the wrong side of history when I admitted to not voting for him on his first term. I didn't vote at all, though, so that was dumb.
Looking into everything that happened really makes it obvious he was just like any other president except he was brown.

Nelson Mandela had all of Robert Mugabe's corruption, but better PR and none of the funny quotes.

Overrated for being this "great defeater of fascism" maybe
Ditto for Winston Churchill. Fat limey was a warmonger who introduced the notion that every two-bit dictator is the next Hitler, and that not intervening is "appeasement".
Mother Teresa, She just ran a place for people to die, and wouldn't give them any medical treatment or send anyone to hospitals for treatment.
No, she wasn't perfect, bit she also never claimed to be a doctor. Medical care was never her mission. It was to pick dying street-shitters out of the gutter, clean them up, give them food and a place to comfortably die.

If you were a down-and-out Untouchable in the slums of Calcutta, covered in shit and maggots, you'd be more glad to see one of her sisters. All Christopher Hitchens would offer you in that situation is a contemptuous sneer.

Speaking of Hitchens, him too. Made his career being an abrasive contrarian for its own sake, Trotskyist turned neocon cheerleader, one of the first fedora-tippers, and hedonist who drank and smoked himself to an early grave.

An American president receiving the Nobel Peace Prize is just bad comedy. I can't think of any person less worthy.
