Not sure if any of these would be first place but all worthy of mention.
Elvis has to be up there, kind of crazy you see have so many people's who life revolve around him despite him being dead for 50 years. He was also a pedo.

John Lennon. he had good music but as a person he was a huge piece of shit and deadbeat dad. He was also way too up his own ass with stuff like his staying in bed to protest Vietnam.

Mother Teresa, She just ran a place for people to die, and wouldn't give them any medical treatment or send anyone to hospitals for treatment. Most of the money she got, just went to the Vatican instead to any good cause.

Came here to say this. India was going to become independent after WWII regardless because Britain was economically destitute and couldn't keep hold onto it anymore. Gandhi's political philosophy was crackpot semi-primitivism comparable to Pol Pot. Even the heavily watered-down form of it Nehru et al. implemented hampered India's economic growth for decades. You can't even really call him a martyr because he wasn't killed by the oppressors he was fighting against, but by a different blend of independence activist.

Funny example actually, there's a case of this where the dad thought his wife cheated on him because his son was a niglet, but DNA testing confirmed it was his, it was just a rare recessive gene thing or whatever. Everyone would think he was a cucked faggot and his wife a coal burner if not for relatively recent technology.
