Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Military superpower to rival all of NATO by itself, folks.

Commanders of Russia's 35th Brigade Wiped Out By HIMARS In Selydove

Suchomimus suggests that perhaps the soldiers under the command of these now 'passed away' wallies who sent donkeys and camel are not terribly cut up about it. Also a fundraiser for the 119th Territorial Brigade. Suchomimus has short and snappy, unbloated Ukraine content. I like that. There's too many on Youtube whose vids are long and bloated in aid of getting a few kopeks of ad revenue. Creators should be like Suchomimus.

Anders Puck Nielsen suggesting that the military deterrence that keeps peace worldwide is suffering a void and that POTUS might be dismantling the structures of alliances that support that. I wonder to what degree a naval commander and academy instructor is reflecting the concerns of the Kingdom of Denmark (given the Greenland tomfoolery). Although not in the military uniform he would wear on Danish TV, it's likely the entire talk was cleared by his superiors. Perhaps not. Sometimes people know what to say and not to say. Nielsen sees a major risk in people focussing on POTUS and not on Ukraine, that his DJT vids almost get too many views. He says to expect more videos on Ukraine and but will focus on the unravelling of the Western Alliance but not to focus on the sayings and doings of Donald Trump.

Anyhow, this contribution of a serving NATO officer is definitely interesting.

Surprised nobody bas gone with "none of this would have happened if it weren't for that meddling Khrushchev!"

To be fair having to admit your two best leaders were a Georgian and a hillbilly from BF Kursk vs. Moscow or Leningrad, sorry St. Petersburg, would be pretty embarrassing.

We've seen ziggers consistently deny that there are Norks fighting for Russia against Ukraine. Well, now even Russian state TV admits it, or rather blurted it out:

That's a NATO lie
Why is there no proof?
Its only something that NAFO are trying to spin.
Ok its 100% ture but is actually based when Russia does it <- We are here

How do you run out Koreans? Has Russia not be stationing them on rooftops to maximize their racial bonuses?

That's just typical Officer Brain, especially Euro "oh my god I have seen the reports and understand exactly and precisely how completely utterly fucked Europe is if the US pulls out and its so much worse than you can imagine" NATO Officer Brain. Change is bad, and the only thing worse than change is the possibility the European countries that don't end in "nited Kingdom", "rance" or "ermany" be expected to have competent militaries capable of at least slowing an invasion.

I'm glad to hear another person is choosing the "Talk & think the minimum necessary about DJT, stick to facts" route.

Agreed. He's not as... detailed as Perun but his content is direct the point with some added context.

Once again I consider what would happen if this had happened in the US Army. Even in a full blow combat zone, within hours you would have had MP's and the J level inspector general's officers on the scene. As for the unit commander involved, he would have stars so far up his asshole he would be thinking he was in space.
Combat zone in which war and where in the zone? I recalled reading during WWII U.S. tanks when in the fight don't stop or turn for nobody including U.S. soldiers and marines, uninjured and injured that are in front of them.

Na, the Sherman and its floor escape hatch for the crew was frequently used in reverse to rescue wounded soldiers. The driver would park over the guy and then one of the tank crewmen would pop the hatch and haul them in.

Olga seems to realize this wasn't supposed to be casually mentioned. But the cat was out of the bag.
ah this is kinda what I was looking for.

Russia ran out of iranian drones and now they ran out of norks.

I m inclined to believe that kim the dear leader didnt send his loyal soldiers but rather the dudes that are lower on the totem pole. he trades the D team for what ever russia wants.

The civilian drivers?
No, those were crushed by the tanks.

Russia ran out of iranian drones
They're making them in Russia with African slaves in large quantities.

Ukrainian F-16 with full ammunition somewhere over the territory of Ukraine.

The fighter is equipped with AIM-120 and AIM-9 air-to-air missiles, GBU-39B SDB guided bombs, an AN/ALQ-131 electronic warfare pod and a pair of additional fuel tanks.

As we can see, this loadout indicates that the F-16 is no longer used only as an interceptor of drones and cruise missiles, but also to destroy ground targets.

Three holes were found in the hull of the tanker Koala in the area of the engine room, Baza writes.
As noted in the report, specialists inspected the tanker's hull using the Gnom remotely operated underwater vehicle and found three holes in the engine room area . Before sending divers in, the vessel will be inspected for any remaining explosives.

Let us recall that yesterday this tanker with fuel oil on board ran aground in the port of Ust-Luga after an explosion .

It is characteristic that at the end of December 2024, the Russian vessel Ursa Major sank in the Mediterranean Sea. As Oboronlogistika stated at the time, this also happened as a result of three explosions . Thus, we can already say that another successful sabotage by the enemy has been carried out.

In Vietnam there were some cases of maimings/deaths when tanks that infantry - particularly ARVN - we using for cover suddenly noticed Vietcong/NVA pointing anti-tank weapons at them and had to shift in a fast hurry. But troops quickly learned to not use tanks for cover to much, because the tank would shrug off hits that would kill fleshy humans near by.

Interesting story: In Hue during tet, the Vietcong/NVA forces were not able to seriously damage either of the 3 M-60s (only one was a normal M-60, the other two were 'zippos') in the city with their RPG-7s, they had no weapons able to take out the battle tanks (the ligher Onuses were another matter). But the RPG spam was so thick and furious they had to swap out crews every couple hours because the crew would end up concussed/shell shocked.

I've seen a fair few people in the tank game sphere knock points off the M60 as an IRL combat vehicle for being slowed down by all that armor it has over the Leopard 1 or AMX 30, seemingly unaware that battlefield threats other than modern large-caliber HEAT shells and ATGM's exist. The RPG-7 aside, an old Soviet WW2-era 85mm had a chance of frontally penning either of those two European vehicles with a well-aimed shot, never mind the more powerful 100mm or 122mm field guns, and as we've seen in Ukraine they'd no doubt be hauling those out of storage before too long as supplemental weapons if things went hot.

After all, in the 1960's those guns were only 20 years old, not 60 years old like the T-62's we're currently seeing Russia field.

Listen USAID shill, the fact that T-54s and T-62s are still being used on the modern battlefield today shows just how good glorious stronk Russian engineering is!
Enjoy gulag in future Aleyska Oblast, NAFO child.

This thread has turned into complete chaos this year.
What are you talking about? This three-page thread to discus the Ukrainian conflict is going exactly as envisioned. Now if you'll excuse me I need to log pff so the phone line is free for calls. Shitposting with a 14.4 modem is a demonstration of just how good our internet technology, was always the plan and DEFINITELY isn't a demonstration of how fucked up things have become.

Russian World:

And this is Katja's house.
It's small.
That's the cash register they ran for themselves.
The balloon, yes.
There are houses where we've all gone underground.
People live there.
Here we are.
We're saving other countries, bombing them.
But we don't need to be bombed.
We bombed everything here.
Here's Vanya's car.
We've already bombed everything here.
Basically, everything is ready.
Bombed, liberated.
Come in and live.
There's one house like this.
That's where they live.
One year I walked through the yards like this.
Well, it's cleaner, cleaner.
I haven't been there for a long time.
Here you are.
I walked through two ditches like this.
And I fell into a garbage dump.
I cried so much, I remember.
Now we went on the road, but that time I decided not to go on the road.
And I fell in.
Here you are, in the mush, gone under the ground.
Sewage flows, smells, smells, of course.
Well, you people smell what?
Lilacs, lilies of the valley.
We smell like sewage.
Don't come here, it's dirty, I'll take it off, I'm coming.
Poop is leaking.
I fell in there the other day.
Yes.
It's just so sad and depressing in general.
It's a depressing neighborhood, of course.

‼️ “My son was put in a bulletproof vest with two anti-tank mines taped up and sent to the front.”

On December 23, 2024, in Gorlovka, Artem Burmushev, a serviceman of the separate assault company “V” of the 132nd brigade (military unit 52892), and his colleague were kidnapped by fighters of the 3rd motorized rifle battalion from the same brigade. According to Burmushev’s mother, Tatyana, the servicemen with the call signs “Horse” and “Nightmare” put bags over Artem’s and his colleague’s heads, handcuffed them, and took them to a detention center . They took their phones so that they could not contact anyone, and held them there for 5 days. After that, the soldiers were sent to the front lines:
“On December 28, they quietly send my son to the front in handcuffs, they attach two anti-tank mines to his bulletproof vest , tie him up with tape and send him to the front.”

The soldier's mother said that he was declared AWOL on December 30.
According to the woman, Ramil Ismailov, who sent her son to the front line, refused to tell her anything because he was not officially his subordinate. Burmushev's immediate commander, Dmitry, with the call sign "Anthracite", refuses to provide any documents or report his status .

The woman believes that her son was reset and the deputy commander of the 3rd battalion, Ramil Ismailov, decided to destroy him in this way so that the whole truth would not be revealed. The woman demands that all those guilty of the kidnapping, illegal detention and possible murder of her son be punished, and that the status of “voluntarily leaving the unit” be removed from him.

Always loved the look of the Hind. Choppers zooming low over the landscape in general is kino, but there's something about that ship in particular that just works, you know?
