Look I agree what happened in dresden was fucked up and I do believe most of the concentration camp confessionals from the gaurds and soldiers were done via torture.
But I hate when wheraboos act like "Hitler was a good boy and didn't do nuffin wrong" like Hitler was a warmongering idiot who didn't get kept in check by the allies because they were to busy trying to appease the ussr.
The Germans invaded Poland because the British encouraged Poland to brag its military flex. After all Poland was technically the 7th largest military in Europe and fell within 3 weeks.
The allies initially placed their hopes on Poland being much stronger and better prepared for wat then it was also Poland was stabbed in the back and invaded by the soviets too.
Again Hitler got what he deserved sadly.
I feel like mentioning because it was talked about above
-While there is obvious value in protectionism, Autarky is based on faulty reasoning (Hitler applied the theory for the tendency of the rate of profit to fall, as described in his Second Book, to justify it) of zero sum games. That's why he needed to expand in the first place. A country could only survive if it had the resources it needed directly because he bought Marx's theory for market profits falling as justification for stopping international trade.
-He didn't believe in the gold standard, called it a pointless shibboleth in his Table Talks. Fellow Nazi theorist Rudolf Jung outright claimed that the germanic spirit was corrupted by the use of gold and money. Nazis were actually more radical about than the Lenin here, with Lenin
going back to the Gold Standard for the NEP due to how much of a failure War Communism was
-He believed in the labor theory of value according to his Table Talks, and that was reflected with having price and wage controls and price commissars. These controls were done even for consumer goods, not just stuff at the highest levels of production
-He ran a massive deficit spending campaign, one even he knew was unsustainable without annexing or plundering other nations. This is exactly what happened to the Netherlands and Greece
-The one man obfuscating the fact that there was still hyperinflation was Hjalmar Shacht who was papering it over with MEFO bills as one giant ponzi scheme. He got into conflict with Hitler over Hitler's deficit spending campaign and ended up being kicked out (And later sent to a camp) in favor of Goering
I would not be surprised if all the best elements of Hitler's economy was singlehandedly from Shacht or the conservatives/corporatists in power. Any novel theory he or actual nazis had were terrible.
