No one likes modern evangelicals, the fact they don't like Trump is proof he's doing something right. Modern evangelicals like these wankers are nothing more than mega-church charlatans more concerned with obtaining private jets and mansions than preaching the word of God. I'm not religious but I fully believe that should the end times occur the very first people being sent to Hell will be this kind of evangelical.
I agree with you, but the problem is, these Evangelical groups formed the core of Trump's base. If they turn on him, it's like what if every brown person turned on the Democrats.

Why did Germany need to further escalate with its unjustified invasion of Belgium which in turn is what brings Britain into the fighting? The Anglo-Franks are actually the responsible party who honor their treaties when called upon. WW1 was mostly the blame of the central powers who actively wanted war with Russia and the Balkan invasion was just a means to facilitate that.
If anyone is to blame for that conflict it is Austro-Hungary, it is the state that set off the chain reaction of military alliances being called into effect and that created the whirlpool of death and destruction that pulled nations and soldiers (both volunteer and conscript) into it alike. The war was a tragedy that should serve as a cautionary tale for the potential consequences of international politics.

Well, yeah. They're the Woke Right.

I guess that means we should have just let it go then because we're the real assholes lmao

What country are you from?
I'm from America, My first ancestor came on the Fortune. My last ancestor came in 1821, he was a French doctor in Napoleon's Army. I had family that served on both sides of the Civil War. I love my country, and the people of the country, very much. I do not want my country to get into stupid wars because of false flags ever again.

You can call them boers. They have many names.

Really, they are Europeans who settled on Africa.
Not true, they are the descendants of the Dutch Europeans who started settling there at around 1650. It needs to be specified that the Boers/Afrikaners are descended from the Dutch because a lot of English came over later on but the two types of European stock did not get along and eventually went to war.

I imagine curtailing mission creep. Unironically that’s something that would be the easiest thing. Just have them be an auxiliary organ to states crisis and emergency services.

A huge issue with a lot of government services or departments is mission creep where you have goals that can never be actually fulfilled. Racism should not be a CDC mission.
Not only is the "mission creep" a huge budget/funding issue, it's also a fucking trust issue.

People might be more trusting of the CDC beforehand if they spent more time on actual viruses and bacteria instead of fake diseases like "racism" and "guns". (not that COVID wouldn't have squandered a lot of goodwill, regardless)

If FEMA were ACTUALLY there to respond to natural disasters instead of wasting funding on millions of illegal immigrants and DEI initiatives, and in turn absolutely dropping the ball when actual hurricane/wildfire shit happens, people might be willing to trust their core mission.

No, you misread. When it said “scores of Afrikans rejected the offer” he was saying “so like 60-80?” As in barely any rejected the offer of what is effectively free American citizenship

The German Kaiser deserves a fair bit of blame as well. Austro-Hungary would have been less inclined to be so bellicose and bullish in their handling of the Archduke's murder without Germany's implicit backing. The list of demands they sent to Serbia was intentionally unreasonable, because they didn't want peace, and the reason they didn't want peace was because they had the German Kaiser's assurances that they would back whatever play the Aust-Huns made. Germany in this way is an enabling force that made military conflict not only more likely but virtually guaranteed. They did this because they feared the Russian empire and what it could become if they weren't crushed sooner than later. This is also the same reason they backed Lenin incidentally.

Unironically the lesson to be learned here is that the best possible outcome would be to let the Hapsburgs bully the Serbians. But noooooo, Austrian child. Slavs squat together so Russia dragged everyone else into a shit cyclone.

Edit: to be fair after the initial shitstorm of alliances creating a greater conflict the Germans made it worse by trying to relive the Franco-Prussian war of 1870 through invading Belgium because it worked the first time.

The article says scores of them accepted the offer. A score is a quantity of 20, so the headline made it sound as if only 60-180 accepted it (Any higher and you'd refer to it as hundreds, not scores)
