No, even Wikipedia acknowledges that it's a rumor. This is just part of the globohomo trend of "every unmarried person from the past was queer and would support LGBTQFJQOJA rights today."

Trump needs to scrub through these other government pages that have woke shit like this.

At the risk of sounding 🧩 there's been a push in recent years to make everything ugly and sterile, and I believe it's on purpose. It's to demoralize people.
Oh absolutely. I could go into a schizo-rant about this but let’s just say that there’s a concerted effort to make everything ugly. From art, to music, to architecture, to entertainment. Ever wonder why modern cities are designed the way they are? Do you know why Rome was designed to be grandiose and awe-inspiring? Compare those buildings to today. The short of it is that every aspect of life is designed to create a depressed population, and a depressed population is easier to control.

Also I’ll just drop this here.

Corporate Memphis.

Don't get too excited
its neat to know the GOP only gets 3 fun weeks every 4 years if they win the presidency
Can we name Fort Lee after the Lee that lead the Americans during the battle of Castle Itter?
there's a guy named Robert E Lee that did a lot of USO shows, i say we honor those people by naming all the Fort Lee stuff after him.
Baron Von Steuben was gay?
thats what they charged him with when he fled his home country to come to the US. plus if he wasn't a fruit why would he have had to flee his home country?

I was talking more about Alegria and movements like Brutalism to a lesser extent. Bauhaus does exist but now things like it are everywhere.
The entire 20th century was filled with psyops trying to convince you to embrace the death of beauty. It's true that they've won because it seems that all resistance died with 9/11. It's part of why everybody complains about 2000s fashion and how awful aesthetics have been in the 21st century.

Wikipedia desperately wants it to be true, but there is no evidence for it beyond the fact that the man was literally married to the Army and never married an actual woman.
People will call Mattis gay in the future as well because he's never married. When in reality it's autism solely dedicated to perfecting warfare. Many such cases in history. Also, it's hard to have a marriage when you're in the military so dedicated to your career. Some Men don't want to put someone through that.

I don't think the death of beauty is the aim, or on purpose. I believe it occurred because 'we' lack the skills to make beauty and aesthetically pleasing products.

It's why everything is straight lines, bland and simplistic. The people making the media are incompetent, they're just lucky that enough retards exist to be happy with whatever jangly-keys level of slop they get fed.

However, this would make a good topic for a deep thought thread and one where we could view some beautiful artwork.

The most important thing in choosing a piece of art is that you buy art that you like, that makes you feel happy. People who buy art just because other people say it's cool or valuable help promote shitty artworks like the Piss Jesus and Banana Taped to A Wall. That's why I'm not quoting anybody's particular posts about Thomas Kinkade; if you like him, good for you, buy his stuff and be happy; go with God.

But Thomas Kinkade does not make me happy. Thomas Kinkade is a hack. I strongly dislike him, for a number of reasons. Once you've seen it, you can't unsee it.

My first reason for disliking Kinkade is his work itself. If I stand and look at ANY of Thomas Kinkade's works, including and especially any work that is generally popular and has sold thousands and thousands of copies, I will spot a continuity error every single time. The most common error I see is a lack of a shadow where there should be a shadow. The second error is an inconsistency in light source, which is epidemic in his work. His "cozy cabins" always look like they're on fire to me, because the light is coming from everywhere at once, and that's just not the way that light works. I could go on about this for a week, so I won't.

My other issue with Kinkade is his business practices. Kinkade hires college art graduates and sets them to cranking out Kinkades like a bitch cranks out puppies. Kinkade himself shows up once a month or so, puts the last few brush strokes on the canvases, and BAM! Signed Kinkade, $1,000 please. You could say, "At least the artists have a job," but working for Kinkade seems to burn out any talent or inspiration that these young artists ever had. I've known at keast 2 ex-Kinkades, and none of them are still artists after working for him. Kinkade even sold prints on QVC to lonely grandmas who couldn't resist that house-on-fire look. Kinkade has whored himself out further by now creating branded Disney, Marvel, and Harry Potter artworks. Atrocious. He's not even pretending to be an artist any more, he's just going for the money now. Thomas Kinkade's real talent isn't painting, it's in the monetization of his work where he's shown his true genius.

If you want to talk about a True and Honest American Artist who didn't specialize in crucifixes floating in a fishbowl full of piss, look no further than Bob Ross. Sure, Bob Ross had happy accidents and cranked out paintings pretty fast, but at least he was the one who painted them. Bob Ross made very little money for his paintings and getting a hold of one is not easy because of the war between his former business partners and his heirs, but someday, someday, I hope to see his work get half the attention that grifter Thomas Kinkade has.

That and general expense. Beautiful buildings cost extra to build. Hard to justify for voters the need to spend 30% more so your new town admin building has marble columns and brass doors that only swing inwards on steel hinges rather then a concrete box with plastic automatic doors.

Personally I wouldn't mind my taxes go to the brass doors and marble columns rather then EBT cards, but I am an unrepentant Chud.

I now have reason to believe that RFK Jr is 100% getting confirmed with zero shred of doubt.
A little birdy in the know told me
Granted it isn't that much of a revelation given Trump has said he's going to fight tooth and nail for Tulsi and Bobby, and senators phones ringing off the hook from people demanding they be confirmed, but it was still nice to hear it two days early.
Seems like it may be an interesting time when it comes to the health and health sciences of America. Only time will tell if he can turn the ship around.

At this point anyone who votes against confirming these people will have just completely ended their political careers.

I don’t think it’s just mere incompetence. It’s in every single aspect of life.

Let’s look at the buildings I mentioned earlier.
IMG_3013.jpeg
This is a popular one. The Roman Coliseum. There’s clear beauty and care in how it’s built. I know that if I was alive at the time, I would wanna go inside to see what’s going on in there.

Now look at a modern city.
IMG_3014.webp
It’s boxy, ugly, and intimidating. Why is it intimidating? Because it’s tall. These tall buildings essentially make people feel small in comparison, and that’s what makes them depressed.

Then there’s art.
IMG_3015.webp
This painting was made in 1767. It’s elegant and beautiful. The pink dress primarily is vibrant and in a lot of ways, it looks even better than real life.

And here’s modern “art”.
IMG_3016.jpeg
I found this on google. It looks like something I would’ve made when I was a toddler. There’s nothing elegant about it. It’s just visual vomit.

On to music. Compare all the generic pop and rap of today to Beethoven or Bach, or John Sousa. People like Taylor Swift or the million niggers who are pushed today, do they create any beautiful music? At my job I have to listen to the radio 24/7, and the vast majority of the songs are literal unlistenable ear cancer.

Now last, let’s look at the people.
IMG_3017.jpeg
This comes from a movie called Women Men Forget from 1920. Look at how this man and woman present themselves. They are clean, well kept, well dressed. There’s beauty in this photo.

Then look at this.
IMG_3018.jpeg
Some could say this is an extreme example, or cherry picked, or whatever, but these are the types of people that are pushed in media. It’s ugly, and you could even say it’s evil.

But yes, I do think there’s an active effort to destroy beauty.
