1970 The Palestinians and Syrians (both communists) try to take over Jordan, fail and get kickbanned to Lebanon

1973 The communists try again, almost reach Tel Aviv then got completely felted again.

I can see either Tulsi or RFK getting BTFO by Republicans because they were the two biggest names, most controversial, Dem defectors...the biggest asks. And after giving Trump so much, denying him one of them would show token resistance, that the entire Party and Congressional Republicans in particular aren't totally under his thumb. Either of them would be considered a necessary sacrifice to give Trump everything else he wants.

Hegseth was a pretty big ask in terms of baggage. Maybe I’m too optimistic but my takeaway from that confirmation was that Mitch McConnell tried to be the brave resistance but just came out looking like an old drooling retard after JD came in and broke the tie. Trump got his nomination and the Rinos looked stupid. I don’t think they have a lot of fight in them for RFK and tulsi. If I’m wrong because of being too optimistic, what’s the opposite of a burger suit?

i personally know at least one person who went no-life on the first season of diablo 4. there is no way that elon musk has the time to do everything he does for all of his obligations and still has enough time to personally grind any of these games. it's simply impossible. to believe otherwise is to either delude yourself or to not understand how immense the time investment into these types of games is to have the things necessary for what he claims, even in diablo 4.

Wasn't his account found to be doing shit while he was in an interview, and his diablo bank or whatever it's called in that game had chinese characters for 'items for Elon' or something to that effect?

I treat effortposting like a message in a bottle. Whatever effort I put in is getting thrown into the ocean, like so many car batteries. You makes your posts and you takes your chances.

I am not trying to doompost here, but I definitely think it's important to keep Big Tech in mind as an independent bloc with access to a lot of capital vying for high-level political influence and power. Politics is a zero-sum game where all actors are inherently opportunistic and self interested. Big Tech wants to excert and entrench their influence the same way the Neocons, Libertarians and any other groups or people in Trump's "coalition" do. Being aware of all the actors in a given place where competition for power occurs is the key to fully understanding the situation. I don't want to convince any people that Trump is totally selling out the country to Silicon Valley, but I do want to keep them in mind as a actor with a degree of influence in the administration vying to push for their own self interest.

I've had plenty of similar thoughts. I've held off posting about factionalism and the coming realignment of the political parties, because it feels nice to enjoy the Trump induced winning and the ineffective wailing of the "establishment". Plus, trying to predict or make conjectures right now is a fool's errand.

One aspect I can mention is Trump optimally positioning himself right in the middle of the "common sense" Overton Window. He just waltzes in and starts pointing out all the Uniparty's dialectic polarization issues are stupid and proceeds to fix them by ignoring the artificial political divide.
Trannies? What freaks allowed this; ended.
Abortion? States Rights. Partial birth is barbaric.
Foreign Wars? Avoid.
Immigration? US citizens are more important.
Deindustrialization? Tarrif foreign. End red tape.
Low Wages? End or lower Income Tax.
Inflation? Cut government waste and fraud.
DEI? Nobody wants to hear nagging; ended.
Global Warming? Nobody actually cares, shut up.
Oil? They do care about gas prices; drill baby drill.
Windmills? Ugly; ended. Birds and whales say tnx.
Food? Make McDonald's quality better than slop.
Corruption? Terminate with extreme prejudice.

Hotelling's Law helps explain why two shops of the same kind will locate next to each other rather than disperse evenly. It can explain both political parties hugging the center. But, the Uniparty colluded to maintain divisive issues to force people into 1 of 2 loyalty programs. Their collusion allowed them to plunder.

It would be like a town only having 2 restaurants: a vegan Hooters staffed only by trannies with no parking, and a methhead interstate truck stop that closes on Sundays because it's rented out to a Megachurch. Both with ripoff pricing.
Trump opens a 1990 McDonalds on Main Street situated near the school, the park, the church, the business district, the post office, and the shopping mall that he purchased and promises to reopen; they still serve beef tallow french fries.

And to make sure the narrative sticks, Internews Network spreads these viewpoints through global media.

Most of these NGOs were born during the Reagan years. While not all USAID and State Department funding flows through them, they control the purse strings for much of America’s global financial influence.

DEI initiatives created a system of unaccountability and dependency, which ended up injecting more money into them and further entrenches their power.

They see any challenge to their authority as a threat to democracy itself. But their greatest enemy is still the same one they've had since the Cold War—Russia. They've never lost the "Cold War" boomer mindset.

i don't doubt at all that he has access to the account, but i stand firmly by my assertion that elon musk, the head of doge and ceo/head of multiple other organizations and companies, does not have the time necessary to personally grind those things in diablo 4. it's no skin off my nose that he probably just has someone else piloting his character.

as far as i know there's no evidence at all that he actually has the time to do this, and all of his major achievements as far as i know have been done off streams, which are the minimum bar i consider for evidence. i come from the speedrunning community, where if you can't see the person's controller in some games, their run could be cheated, and thus would be invalid. if elon musk is the best player in the world, i'd need to see it in action to believe it.

from what i can find, he has average to above average gameplay, which is impressive for sure, but i simply don't have the ability to suspend my disbelief that he has the time to get to this skill level while also acting in the capacities he does for the united states and his corporations.

I believe Tulsi's conversion because she doesn't seem opportunistic. She could've taken Bernie's route and allowed herself to get buckbroken for a cushy seat, but she chose to go against everything and support Trump instead. That takes courage.

If you have actual right wing beliefs, you would do well to be extremely wary of people like her.

She supports Trump because her party is so corrupt that even true believers think it deserves to die. But she still has her stupid, liberal beliefs.

She is a temporary ally and nothing more.

Same with Elon, RFK, Rubio, and allllll these other people with beliefs that are foundationally (if not explicitly) liberal, who amount to nothing more than a 90s Democrat.

The same is true for Trump. Although he’s dragged the right into actually being a reactionary force, it’s not going to matter if all we do is turn back the clock 20-30 years every so often. We will just end up right back where we started eventually.

Until people disagree with foundational liberal beliefs like that racism is important (or even exists as anything other than a communist tool), women have any place in politics, or the most destructive belief—that people are inherently good—then we’re gonna be doing this dance for decades or centuries.

Anyone holding out any hope for “Surf Mommy” becoming based is delusional. She may do some good, yes, but don’t forget that she (and many others who are presently allies) are fundamentally opposed to actual right wing rule.
