Furry Fandom and Drama General

Isn't that the origin story of Kage too? "He tells good stories when he's tanked up"?
His origin story is Albany Anthrocon was committing seppuku and he valiently saved the day and they made him chairman.
But that's how he tells it so you're probably right, he's a tanked-up touchy-feely storyteller.

PL but I remember doing Anthrocon for the first time just after it moved to Pittsburgh and being warned to keep a distance from him because I was "just the age he goes for".

Why furries think they win any argument about the fandom is beyond me; regardless of what’s said they’re still a degenerate furry.
Furry's Law: if you're in an argument and you're a furry, you lose.

First they came for the furries, and I did nothing because that's a pretty good idea.
Then they came for the shippers, and I thought that was a pretty good idea, too.
Then they came for the troons, and I stood up and applauded because that's an utterly awesome idea.
Then they came for me, and we threw a party.

he’s reached the stage where they start getting careless about opsec
It was like a five minute search. Dude could have easily not posted his picture everywhere or talked about his profession, but no. That's what got me into looking at the furry fandom, there's just so many fucked up people in it, that even the "successful ones" still comport themselves like retards.

Here's a thought: Maybe he's not so secretive because he doesn't want his work life affected, as his state is pretty heavily Democrat and they wouldn't care about him being involved with goofy LGBT stuff, but maybe he wants to keep his actual life from the furries. Maybe he's concocted some alter life to dupe the furries and fit in better, but in real life, he's a lot more straight laced and certainly wouldn't want kids (if he actually has any) exposed to hypersexual stuff?

Furries and OPSEC: a combination that doesn't exist. Seriously though, out of all the demographics I see online, furries seem to have the least self-control when it comes to oversharing and self-doxxing. A lot of these people are lucky that all the kiwis ever do is screenshot and archive their posts to mock them for being dumbasses, because in reality, many of them would be piss-easy to scam or impersonate.

With furries specifically, it’s common to see them use the same username across five or more sites. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve seen a furry tweet about being innocent and never engaging in anything questionable, only to google their username and immediately find their porn account filled with degenerate images that would make god weep.

This connects to the insanely high level of autism among furries. Broken brains don’t self-regulate all that well, and oversharing is not uncommon. The pandemic did us no favors in terms of socializing young people.

So, I know this is a bit dated - and autistic as shit - but I've done some more digging on FA, found some furfag artwork about the United Healthcare CEO that got assassinated: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59720946. Wouldn't have bothered posting it, but I noticed the artwork was only a week old, and there's still furfags commenting "eat the rich" and ACAB shit on it, so I went ahead and posted it here.

There is one particular furry I noticed on the post that might have some lolcow potential; a guy named "ArrowQuivershaft": https://www.furaffinity.net/user/arrowquivershaft/. I've seen this guy pop up a few times over the years; couple of comments on some old boards from this guy whining about how the normal people "don't understand" the furry fandom, alongside some of his artwork, but he's been comparatively quiet recently outside of art. I only really brought him up because of his FA journal from a few weeks ago, which is still getting some traction: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11055760. Mostly just him and other furries talking about burning bridges with people whose politics they don't agree with, and how "hate has no home here". Anyone got anything else on this guy?

I have seen this boy at work for a long, long time. Not going to PL excessively on it, but... I don't know of any real dirt. Guy's just a massive literal autist. Used to live in Wisconsin, I guess. Which I know because he wouldn't stop telling everyone in a hundred foot radius that he volunteered on the sub in Manitowoc when he was at cons.

The gloves are off and Xydexx has masked up in his Antifa bandanna, ready to march! You guys scared, yet?

Of course this furry art is the closest he’ll ever get to being in an antifa protest; in real life he’ll probably be miles away hiding behind his husband and frantically posting on bluesky to own some chuds.

Frantically pedaling away on his recumbent bike.

It would be hilarious for a balding 60 year old with a skullet to show up with a bunch of rioters.

"Back in my day, we used to bash the fash with onions. They were yellow onions because we couuldn't get white ones cuz of the war."

Lol his weakness is inflatables pop the inflatables make them cry. Destroy their fetishes and boom they are on their knees. They are driven by sexual urges. This is not about them standing up and fighting for what is right but them standing up so no one gets in the way of their sexual urges.. animals kids... Inflatables

Because they don't need to. Furries "win" arguments like a pigeon playing chess, they shit everywhere, call in their friends, their friends shit everywhere with them and then they declare victory. The furry battle plan is to just make their culture of open-degeneracy as brazen as possible while being as widespread as possible. They do not "win arguments", they just repeat the same lies and rhetoric easily contradicted by one quick comb over of their fandom and simply rely on calling in their brigades to pile up on anyone that is saying things that might make the ignorant normie begin noticing things. By the end of the day, the success rate of a furfag is measured in how many impressionable kids that they've managed to inflict abnormal porn addictions on. All of the ones that are not out there doing that are out somewhere else running damage control to cover up the former's actions.

Anyone: “So Mr Xydexx, I was just reading about furry pedo rings and satanist trans furries and about your inflatable pooltoy fetish and I got to say, that’s pretty off-putting.”
Xydexx: “LOL you just outed yourself as a Nazi!”

Xydexx will post every once in a while that high school was a nightmare for him because he’s queer, but I suspect he got his ass kicked a lot more because of his acting like an insufferable nerd pseudo intellectual.

Ah, of course. The typical attempt to make an argument based on the wisdom that young children can bestow upon us. That being the classic "No, you!".

Recently, I was browsing the children's/young adult section of new books promoted by Publisher's Weekly while searching for book ideas for my young nephew. Publisher's Weekly is one of the more established publications and frequently highlights new books, with their children's picks often being promoted to libraries and schools.

Unsurprisingly, many of the featured books have a "diversity-focused" theme. However, I was genuinely surprised to find that one of their Children's Bookshelf selections was Blades of Furry, essentially a physical edition of an existing gay furry webcomic about two male deer competing in figure skating.

In case it wasn't obvious, it's gay, furry, and openly being advertised to 13- to 17-year-olds. There are two separate articles about it on their website, but both are quite long, so I'm only screencapping the relevant parts. Anyway, I guess this is what we're promoting to kids nowadays.

Blades of Furry is a gay comic that's incidentally furry, rather than a furry comic that's incidentally gay. If you're honestly surprised that a comic about male figure skaters would be gay, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

I generally find it interesting that humans will use animals to weave concepts and commentary that are harsher in communication using humans. Zootopia is actually a good example of it, with the undercurrent of predators vs prey. Different animal species make it easier to communicate the overcoming of noticeable differences. It's heavy-handed, but not something unique to furries.
