I think whole talk about Ukro resources is Trumps attempt to get something out of this mess, before he walks away. And leaves Europeans to deal with fallout.
So far Ukrop "warmachine" is running on Shekels allocated by Biden. But they will not last forever. So Trump will be forced to either walk away or double down on Bidens war and send Billions of Dolars more.

Indeed. An ideal situation would be to keep Kiev on life support with the minimum amount of aid necessary. This would avoid the bad optics of more Western embassies being evacuated, but I don't think such a level can be identified, or even exists at all.

Also, no more EU chest puffing, perhaps they will use more sensible language going forward now they know the US aren't going to parachute in on any wars started by Eurofags.

I still doubt anything will come of this. It's gotta be one hell of a sweetheart deal Trump is offering that would get Russia to give Ukraine time to rearm. By all means, Russia can definitely keep pressing to take the strategic resources east of the Dnieper river.
