We get it. We're saying "you're wrong."
Valid, Ive been wrong before and Ill be wrong again.
I dont wanna shit up this thread anymore than I already have with this increasingly offtopic convo
I dont mind disagreement, I dont mind if you call me a dumb nigger while you disagree with me, What I think is counterproductive is trying to shut down the whole conversation just because the questions being asked or the discussion seems to call into question "established facts"
I was surprised to see how many people in this thread that so quickly resorted to trying to silence discussion about something because they see this as "settled science" and any question asking isent just seen as foolish but actively to be fought against?
I heard more than 1 reply that sounded as if they were nuclear engineers admonishing a new colleague for a foolish error in logic that any greenhorn should know. But even suppose you were? Go pick up a current medical book and compare it to one from 100 years ago, whole concepts have changed. Now realize nuclear science isent even that old in its entirety and medicine has been around for as long as we have been around yet it still reveals new understandings and facts all the time.
We are talking about putting a nuclear reactor on the high seas, its not just reductionist to assume we have fully mastered any challenges associated with that, its dangerously arrogant in my opinion. I dont want to act or assume like I have some exceptional knowledge about this area I just feel asking questions and thinking about things in unique ways and risk being wrong is important.
I think if you really think im stupid and wrong you can find alot more interesting and funny ways to exploit that then try and shut down an autistic line of thinking but I also recognize this thread isent my blog, I try to find balance and dont always get there.
