Valid, Ive been wrong before and Ill be wrong again.

I dont wanna shit up this thread anymore than I already have with this increasingly offtopic convo

I dont mind disagreement, I dont mind if you call me a dumb nigger while you disagree with me, What I think is counterproductive is trying to shut down the whole conversation just because the questions being asked or the discussion seems to call into question "established facts"

I was surprised to see how many people in this thread that so quickly resorted to trying to silence discussion about something because they see this as "settled science" and any question asking isent just seen as foolish but actively to be fought against?

I heard more than 1 reply that sounded as if they were nuclear engineers admonishing a new colleague for a foolish error in logic that any greenhorn should know. But even suppose you were? Go pick up a current medical book and compare it to one from 100 years ago, whole concepts have changed. Now realize nuclear science isent even that old in its entirety and medicine has been around for as long as we have been around yet it still reveals new understandings and facts all the time.

We are talking about putting a nuclear reactor on the high seas, its not just reductionist to assume we have fully mastered any challenges associated with that, its dangerously arrogant in my opinion. I dont want to act or assume like I have some exceptional knowledge about this area I just feel asking questions and thinking about things in unique ways and risk being wrong is important.

I think if you really think im stupid and wrong you can find alot more interesting and funny ways to exploit that then try and shut down an autistic line of thinking but I also recognize this thread isent my blog, I try to find balance and dont always get there.
You rub people the wrong way because you are consistently over multiple topics confidently incorrect in glaringly obvious ways, and then put it on others to prove you wrong instead of the other way around. It makes people less likely to be patient with you.
Questioning something is fine, if you have cause to question it. To not have cause or to not even check and to do it anyway is unproductive.

Here I did it for you. 1 google search lead me to this pdf that goes over the various safety features of naval nuclear reactors. It describes the levels of defense against accidents that have been designed into the reactors

The first being the type used.

Even the fuel pellets themselves are designed to withstand shock.

your telling me the people who built it says its safe?

I dont think we have ever seen a nuclear reactor ship of that size hit by another ship of that size, all the reports and facts are nice but this is a real world trial and thats when we find out how "unsinkable" the titanic really is so to speak

Im not saying Im right, im saying it merits watching and remembering that this might be a unique event so far in our history

"I'll speak on behalf of my colleagues. I think I can say we are all willing to work with anyone who's serious about doing the work of censoring the American people and advancing progress.
Trump has really broken these demons so much that hey just keep slipping up, and telling all the quiet parts out loud.

It's mind-boggling.

And that crystal is going to become some perverse guiding light, always pointing people towards the truths of the future that it own spirit cannot comprehend.
Like I said. My personal headcanon is that Fatpacks is our thread's Cassandra. But reverse.
If he utters something as fact, the opposite will come true. He has come to learn this, so takes on his Messianic role of having all of us dunking on him at all times, but he loves and believes in us, so he is always wrong in the best possible way so that we may know peace.
He is a Patriot like us, he is just forced to wear the garb of the doomer till he is released.
If Fatpacks doesn't doom, if he predicts that Trump will live a long and happy life and that America will actually be okay, then we will know he has turned. And to start preparing.

Questioning something is fine, if you have cause to question it.
To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for
all men, — that is genius. Speak your latent conviction, and it shall be the universal sense; for
the inmost in due time becomes the outmost,—— and our first thought is rendered back to us
by the trumpets of the Last Judgment. Familiar as the voice of the mind is to each, the
highest merit we ascribe to Moses, Plato, and Milton is, that they set at naught books and
traditions, and spoke not what men but what they thought. A man should learn to detect
and watch that gleam of light which flashes across his mind from within, more than the lustre
of the firmament of bards and sages. Yet he dismisses without notice his thought, because it
is his. In every work of genius we recognize our own rejected thoughts: they come back to
us with a certain alienated majesty. Great works of art have no more affecting lesson for us
than this. They teach us to abide by our spontaneous impression with good-humored
inflexibility then most when the whole cry of voices is on the other side. Else, to-morrow a
stranger will say with masterly good sense precisely what we have thought and felt all the
time, and we shall be forced to take with shame our own opinion from another.

I respect your opinion and most everyone elses but I dont look to your or anyone else for the cause to question what I do.

I'm not going to lie; I HATED this pick, but her credentials are surprisingly decent and she sure knows how to give a compelling opening statement. I hope she and her team makes American education great again if confirmed.
The McMahon's are longtime friends of Trump. Linda McMahon served during Trump's first Presidency as the head of the Small Business Administration.
I liked her opening statements. Her remarks were nice and she reminds me of my grandmother.

I pulled my kids from school not long ago. There were some red flags earlier in the year and I just haven’t been impressed with the instruction. It is more hands-on work for me now but they are all responding really well to more individual attention and a more peaceful learning environment. Turns out learning to read is much easier when you aren’t fighting off future doctors engaging in their lunchtime rowdies.

I still get emails from their old school and their screeching, enraged response to the ICE raids only further solidified my resolve. Hopefully McMahon can clear out the rot in education for those families that haven’t given up on public schools altogether.

Looks like Trump might have her doing a demolition job.
