The only time it would make sense to try to appeal this currently unappealable order would be after the case or in response to an appeal by Russ, either now or at the end of the case (and he has no right to appeal now nor would it stay the case). If at the end of the case, he does file a frivolous appeal, it would be then time to file a cross-appeal on the issue of this utterly arbitrary decision by Judge Barlow, which flat out ignores the explicit language of the rule, the actual facts of the case, and is bereft of any accurate reference to the record.

Getting into some kind of retarded slapfight with the judge who just said that without witnesses or evidence, Russ is likely to go down on SJ, would be quixotic. Motions to reconsider are rarely granted, and this won't be one of them. IMO the judge knew exactly what he was doing and did it anyway, knowing no reasonable person would try litigating it further.

That is to say, Barlow knows who the reasonable side of this is, he's just still pursuing the tardguard position for whatever reason. I'm not going to ascribe malice but I'm going to ascribe piss-poor policy that is all across the federal system, not just this case.

I’m incredibly biased but the Florida Panthers NHL team are the most fun team in all of sports right now. They won the Stanly Cup for the state last season, are poised to have a good shot at it this year, and put on a pretty good show.

The sheer amount of Canadian salt made by a traditionally awful team in south Florida slaughtering teams from places that actually have snow is pretty great. If the idea of retarded fans throwing rubber rats on the ice after winning and jumping with the Stanley cup into the ocean sounds fun, that’s basically what they are. This group is as culturally Florida as you can get for a modern sports team, even if half of them are Finnish. And there’s far less gay shit than basically any other team which is a plus.

There’s an international USA vs Canada vs Finland vs Sweden competition going on too which has been pretty fun too, we have a nice off topic threat for it all.


The Tampa bay lighting are also cool too but I’m obligated to say fuck the bolts. The rivalry games across Florida may as well be the cup finals some years.
