Not Just Bikes / r/fuckcars / Urbanists / New Urbanism / Car-Free / Anti-Car - People and grifters who hate personal transport, freedom, cars, roads, suburbs, and are obsessed with city planning and urban design

He's also assassination fantasizing again:

Kind of ironic he supports everything that actually does upset and inconvenience tons of people like congestion pricing and bike lanes.

More BlueSky retardation:

It's retarded because it's the city that was the one that installed the bike lanes in the first place and that includes obvious exceptions. If you're that bloodthirsty to make certain everyday actions crimes, then you deserve the hammer coming down on you both metaphorically and literally.

All of these gas station issues could be solved by turning them all into Buc-ee’s.

There's a reason why almost all of the Buc-ee's stores are located a good ways out from urban areas.

One of the few Tesla owners I know (not a scumbag but suspected to be on the spectrum) has stated that one advantages of an electric car is never dealing with a "filthy gas station" again. It comes off a bit of cope to me since there are still many dirty (germs, dirt, etc.) things you interact with daily. Whatever, he doesn't spend all day tweeting that if you live in the suburbs (he does) you're an idiot, evil, or both.
It's just unwarranted self-importance, "dirty gas stations" =I don't have to rub shoulders with "those types" - fear of germs being a palatable public excuse, but not the underlying rationale. Which is simply not wanting to be seen as a commoner.

To be fair? There was a time when there were a lot of sketchy gas stations, especially out in the country. I recall a few of them pretty well, from atrocious bathrooms to old and expired products in the windows to rusty pumps that still had roll-over displays. But that's kinda a thing of yesteryear now.

That stereotypical two-pump "dirty" station largely ceased existing in the early 00's around here (and probably elsewhere) when new environmental regs put a lifetime on your underground storage tanks, and they had to be dug up and replaced every "X" years. Regardless of any leak it did or didn't have.

That put a lot of those sketchy places out of business because they couldn't afford the seven figure bill to do that work as gas sales were their only real income and the profit margin on fuel isn't great, the REAL profit comes from the sandwiches and coffee better operations can upsell you on.

Which is why almost every gas station these days is a multi-pump affair taking an entire block that's propped up by a retail outlet or fueling chain.

That contraption has worse blind spots than a F-350. Why does he want to kill children?
Also, the closest Lowe's to me? Is 18 miles.

I am not biking 36 round trip miles, period, much less with that in front of me half the way.

I don't think the armed populous he's imagining follow the same political persuasion as him. Just a reminder we know almost next to nothing about Thomas Crooks as we did several months ago. Seems very much like a organized setup than the peasant revolt copium which he's imagining in his head.

Lately Fietser seems to be competing with Jason to become the biggest urbanist lolcow so far. Give Jason credit where credit is due, at least he isn't as much of a Billy badass as Fietser is. Actually I take that back, Fietser can't even make a threat properly without being a spineless weasel. He can only impotently say, "Oh well I hope someone out there will do what I want".

I love that the NYPD told them to fuck off. I bet even the officer rolled his eyes while thinking "fucking snitch" in his head.

That term might even be too kind.

One must imagine his wife to be very happy being married to this man.

This type of behavior is classic, "Just because its possible doesn't it should be done,". Why do these faggots like to overload their light vehicles as if they were some 3rd worlder?
Fuckcars/urbanism has become a dogmatic religion to these people. Back then even eco fanatics were like, "ok if you can walk somewhere try doing that as an alternative". But now it's turned into a thing where you must use a bike for everything, no exceptions to the rule. In their heads they want so badly to justify this world without cars that they must make the bike do absolutely everything at any expense sacrificing convivence and safety.

Do canucks and euros have such dogshit infrastructure that their pumps leak fuel onto them? This has never once been a problem anywhere I've ever been in the states, no matter what middle-of-nowhere decades-old gas station I've gone to.
Nah, just some people who can't aim for the hole sometimes. It's usually cleaned at fixed hours so it's not needed most of the time.

100% Eric will be moving into the richest, whitest part of Brasil (the parts that did not vote for Lula) lol

Also imagine thinking that Brasil is less car-dependent in any way? The country doesn't even have a national passenger rail system anymore, and only gets points for its carbon footprint due to the massive bulge of human biomass eeking out a living on the margins.

His wife is a White Brazilian so they'd likely move to wherever her family is from:

However I suspect that’ll never happen:

“my wife’s career”. Sure. She could be an engineer or whatever she is in Brazil if she really wanted to.

I think she wants to stay in the US and once she gets her green card, she won’t need his worthless ass anymore.

This also would explain why he doesn’t have kids:

Why would she want to be have children with someone she plans on ditching?

I've seen a lot of old gas stations in more rural areas get put out of their misery when a new, shiny one opens up (or the road gets bypassed).

One must imagine his wife to be very happy being married to this man.
Where does he get the money to do nice things for the wife? She's clearly the ones wearing the pants in the relationship, I imagine that she brings in the money while he tards around with cargo bikes and taking care of the cats during the day. He clearly doesn't seem to have a day job that pays anything worthwhile (maybe he rides bikes to work at the local Burger King).

This also would explain why he doesn’t have kids:
I'm surprised he's not larping with the cats in the cargo bike.
