I just looked that game up. It’s four WOMEN in their mid-40s reuniting for MYSTERY reasons to rehash the summer of 1995. Strange choice for Phil!
This is the same guy whose biggest issue with LiS: Double Exposure is the lack of a skip button in a kiss scene.
He did disclose his self defense hatchets so I absolutely believe he'd just yell at 'tractors that he's got a Glock
Reminder that khet has a firearm and she took(?) it with her to Renton.
Anyways, I wonder if this will trigger Phil to move away. Seriously. His whole life he's had a strange appeal to authority.
Interesting you brought that up, because I think there is something to this. I've noticed that people who have the most uneducated takes on something (like Phil) tend to have a weird appeal to authority or emotion. Generally, we make three types of arguments: logical (logos), emotional (pathos), and authoritative (ethos). 99% of the time we use logic,
because that's how we think, but there are times when you appeal to emotion or authority (think an eyewitness account in a murder case). Hell,
Common Sense, one of the most influential works in American history, appeals to emotion.
But what happens when you are faced with a strong logical argument you can't counter with a strong logical argument back? You deflect, appeal to one of the latter, and say "It's because X said so!" or "What if Y happens??" Where I'm going with this is that Phil has always fallen back to appealing to authority when he can't lie to defend himself, and by obliterating any possible authoritative argument (in fact shifting it against him), he is only left with crying wolf about muh detractors. So expect his unhinged detractor rants to get worse.
