Disaster Delta flight from Minneapolis crash lands at Toronto Pearson airport - All passenger and crew accounted for - no known fatalities

Delta Air Lines CRJ900 crash landed at Toronto Pearson Airport on Monday.

The flight, from Minneapolis-St. Paul, was listed as Endeavor 4819, a CRJ-900 (N932XJ). It appears to have landed upside down.

This is a breaking news story. Refresh for updates.

The big three are notable - DC, this one, and the medical flight.

The one where the business jet slid into another one is not really notable, but got picked up because of all the others.

I have never seen a plane of that size upside down before.
You did not answer my question. Can you repeat what my question was to yourself and then retype your reply please?

I'm all for pointing out the competency crisis but frankly I'm leaning towards the pilots being white and managing to expertly avert some kind of freak accident what with the 'nobody died' part. Managing to adequately control an upside down airliner enough to get it to touch down on a runway to begin with I imagine is a Sisyphean task. But then fucking landing it without killing anybody must be on another level.

Today's crash did an incredible job of selling the CRJ. Just on how seemingly strong the main fuselage is. The wings and tail tore off but the passenger compartment stayed together. That planes a tank.
Well you can't buy CRJs because god had the mercy on us all to have Canada kill bombardier.

Everything about the CRJ is a pile of fucking shit, it's the Ford focus of airliners. Every part of it is designed to be as cheap as physically possible. At least the 900s are better than earlier CRJs which were just stretched business Jets with no changes leading to them being underpowered and complete dogshit with a specific quirk of passengers being cooked because the AC system was completely unchanged. But the cabin is still the most miserable of any commuter jet on earth. Maybe the fuselage is strong enough but everything else is literally built to be as cheap as possible.

I'm glad the Canadian government decided to fuck bombardier in the ass because it means in time without the ability to produce more these hideous abominations will all get old and be sent where they belong. Shuttling niggers in Africa.

Wouldn't a plane somersaulting like that disperse energy in a safer way than the sudden stop into that wall, or would the spins be enough to throw occupants around so hard that it causes blunt force trauma deaths? (Can airplane seatbelts keep people restrained in spin crashes?)
The Asiana plane at San Francisco went ass-over-teakettle down the runway, broke in half, and burst into flames.

Of the three people who died, two weren't belted in and the third got smacked by a door.

IIRC, there have also been cases where the plane exploded, whole seating units went flying, and people walked away. But that's miracle territory.

Another angle of the crash with included radio communication.

On a serious note, how DID they fucking end up upside down? This was either something catastrophic, retarded, or catastrophically retarded.
It’s not that they flipped the plane, it’s that it cleanly sheared the wings off and didn’t otherwise break up that is the amazeballs thing. Usually the fuselage splits in two at a minimum.

Found the fucking culprit, DEI air traffic control (and a furry to boot!):

What the fuck is this weird fake screenshot? Like it would have been less effort to load up an emulator and get a screenshot (or screencap an LP on YouTube) than whatever this mish-mash photoshop special is.

Anyway during covid a bunch of pilots retired and never came back, and then once the vaccine came in a bunch of pilots died or went out of commission due to mysterious illnesses. We literally don’t have enough competent pilots. It goes beyond just DEI.

Okay what sort of Gen Z fuckwit jumps immediately to his iPhone to film the upside down evac of his plane crash, while it's still on fire? I mean it's cool to see, but we have some serious issues regarding mental priorities here. Not "rescue self first", not "help other passengers get out" it's "oh shit I gotta TikTok this!".
It looks like the plane is blowing a ton of snow. I saw somewhere that the runway was mostly clear, but was about 20% narrower due to snow. They had crosswind gusts of around 36 kts according to VASaviation. I wonder if that pushed them sideways enough to clip a wing on the snowbank?

And of course the guys leaking the video have heavy Indian accents. Fucking Canada.
The dudes arrested for leaking footage of the DC collision are niggers. But I think it’s just fucking common for most people to broadcast shit to the internet no matter the consequences.
