Deleted my previous post. The porn account that popped up shortly after he left the internet very likely was him yeah. I don't think it was ever 100% confirmed though. Many of the accounts posted after that one in this thread are very dubious at best. That's all I was trying to say.

I'm sorry to tell you this but a lot of people are going to have quite similar artstyle, I'm sure an in-depth penmanship analyst might be able to discern them, but I wonder how likely it is that there's people who just happen to draw similarly to him, even moreso considering he was quite a big well known artist back in the day so I imagine many budding artists learned from and copied him
An artstyle is just one hint, granted a big one, but never the end-all

Oh, so everyone in this thread just turned into retards I guess. That an art style on some obscure (to English speakers) Japanese website just happened to line up exactly with Shmorky's, and the artist then, FOR NO REASON AT ALL, deleted the account upon being discovered and posted about over here. Because people who aren't Shmorky totally do that.

There wasn't any concrete proof besides the deletion and the art style isn't anything we can use as proof either considering the fact that he's proven himself capable of forging a whole new style + I've seen artists in the wild imitate his style. It's just as possible that a Shmorky stan who lurked this very notorious thread made that account and DFO'd their stuff when it was posted. I don't know why you're acting like it's a personal attack on you to say it isn't shmorky.

I'm not talking about any specific individual, I'm talking in general about the fact that we might discover many people who draw similarly and that alone won't be concrete proof

That aside it's also not unlikely that a relatively unknown artist would delete their work off the net when they suddenly start getting nothing but negative attention on here

I'm not putting a case FOR or AGAINST it being Shmorky, I'm presenting possibilities of what could be happening
