he also did a talk with the FAGC but I don't remember much of it. something about the flights around that time being expensive and texting with production regarding getting ticket, learning they'll only reimburse him for it after the purchase. a fan ended up sending him the money (who later on is also in the call).
that makes sense to me, Mizzy said that they gave him the money for a ticket and said something like "but who knows if he actually used it for one". They threw his heroin out, so I'm sure they were afraid that if they wired him money then he'd just buy more. He seems to still be on good terms with Sam and Jet, despite how much they allowed Frank to assault him and exploit him while he was drunk (perpetually, from the alcohol provided by production.)
I have been wondering if Jeff's situation met the standards to be considered human trafficking.
A few pages back, you guys were debating why they had to leave the house, and being burnt out on ideas was undoubtably the primary factor, but there was a second reason that Sam kept asking Jet if they could say. Besides the house renovations, possible mold and plumbing issues, I've wondered if the rest of the FH2.0 cast put them in a precarious situation?
Brandon is the only thing that gets repeatedly brought up, but besides him you had a house full of thots (and Tony).
Turbo is an ex-pornstar, Alyssa was a literal prostitute who was under an agency, LingLing was one of those trashy street interviewer babes for hire, Alex B does some kind of weird erotica.
A few of the new girls were sleeping commando and flashed the audience by accident a couple of times. LingLing and Tony made out constantly, Tony was cheating on his girlfriend back home and admitting to doing something sexual with his sister, presumably because he didn't know the show was already live.
Sam is totally checked out, and they kick Breezy off because Sam heard that she accused the crew of stealing her underwear, which he took as a creepier allegation (despite the sharks actually messing with luggage and the 'stolen panties' bit being done every season.)
Alex Stein took control of the show and started yelling at the contestants telling them that the show needed more sex, and as result, Binx made out with LingLing and conspired with her in the middle of the night where they planned to pretend to be in love with each other.
Production misses this, Sam (and possibly Ben) get trolled by HeartTank into thinking Binx coerced her into sex, and finally at this point Sam states outright that the show was getting too horny
while Jet(?) sends this site message once Sam is done with the confrontation.
Offering no resolution to this, Sam goes to the kitchen and chats with Alyssa a little bit about her job as an escort, then leaves again and takes a few TTS's in private.
Alex B was kicked for implying she might get litigious, Gianna left on her own accord because she caught on to the show's political leanings.
I'm wondering if Sam might've flushed FH2.0 because he discouraged, if not a little spooked, by all the sex and how little he could trust production to keep it from getting worse. If it wasn't so late into the season, he might have had more motivation to do damage control and get on better terms with the contestants, but with Turbo telling them all about the contract (and Luke encouraging her, thinking it was a bit) the situation must have felt too far gone. How this relates back to Jeff, is that I wonder if they had to leave the house because they were anticipating that it would get raided, like it was over the chickens.
I recall Burt getting a wellness check called on him, too.
It's probably unlikely but it makes me remember Betty saying Sam kicked her off the show for flashing her tits, and he said "no comment" when him and Jet were asked about it on stream later. After Trish and Brian's antics and the bathroom cam in s2, I'm not sure where he draws the line personally and what he knows to be a liability. Maybe Fatty, Trish/Brian, all the fish caught on the bathroom cam, and Burt/Mizzy/Binx can have slip-ups because Sam/Production have a relationship with them, which makes fallout less likely.
I ended up going on a tangent, so I'll make this a new post as I'm curious about this.
I couldn't tell what impression Tony made on Sam.
it was almost like he was the first sign of what was to come. On the first day of FM2.0, Sam separates the men and the women, excluding Burt and Brandon. His tactic seemed to be an effort to set up some kind of battle of the sexes social experiment leading up to the Brandon confrontation, but then Tony told that sister story and ended up being Brandon's biggest defender.
Personally, I got the impression that he immediately pinned him as rapey, or at least just too horny, and started mocking him for it. His thing with Binx was weird and I think one issue with s3 was that he wanted Binx to be that season's sidekick/teacher's pet (like letty and trish were) who he could instruct to set up bits or utilize against the men, and it took him far too long to realize that that role should have been given to Mizzy instead because he barely had any relationship with Binx. He seemed to think it was a given that she was the hottest girl in the house, too, even with the new contestants.
