Wait, am I understanding this correctly? If what Musk says is True, and DOGE delivers a tax return to American citizens based on the cuts they've made (assumings it's significant enough) it could help citizens offset the potential price increases on imported goods caused by tariffs, until American industries can catch up and make up the difference.

I don't know if this was planned or a happy accident but damn, almost seems like a 400 IQ play.

Believe it when you see it. I'm overjoyed at all the shit going on too, but lets not get ahead of our skis. This is how we end up with "the USA is going to take over Gaza".

All the arguments agaisnt tariffs are circular when you look at the possible outcomes. They claim the American tax payer will ultimately end up covering the cost of the tariffs which is in a way true leaving 3 possible outcomes.

1. The tariffs collect less money than current taxes. The result is a tax cut or slight offset of existing income taxes.

2. The tariffs somehow to the penny collect the exact same amount of taxes. Same tax burden as before but likely shifted upwards as I personally don't import large amounts of aluminum.

3. The tariffs collect MORE than current income tax scheme. This would allow a tax refund or more likely allow the federal government to use the extra to offset any undue burdens that may occur on certain industries during the transition period.

I personally don't see a problem with any of these outcomes. If there is a possibility I am missing please let me know.

If somehow I get a few hundred bucks back I’ll be a very happy man. That’s a months worth of groceries at the very least.

Oliver Anthony (Rich men north of Richmond guy) gives a speech at Arc. We truly live in momentous times. So many speeches. Politics has NEVER been this interesting before in my life. The entire art of the political speech had become so sterile these past few decades. Boring and trite. There was never any passion. Never any belief! It was all just a cargo cult of politics. Repeating the motions of past events thinking that just doing the performative actions will make the aircraft descend from heaven and deliver the canned peaches and chocolate pudding.

I said back when Trump was elected that "the end of history" has ended, and begins again. the Emperor chosen by heaven has been enthroned and the Valkyries will ride! America is awake. I stand by this spergy sentiment.

The right after years of trial by fire has really good opsec. The left barring a few violent tranny psychopaths has none.
Brother I have family across the entire Bible belt and most of them and their friends don't even know what the fuck a DNS server is.

You people do not understand how small your bubble is.

Also the guy above me has some weird orange smear on his lips

Eugh

Tbh I'd rather they used the money to pay down the deficit because that will be a more meaningful use of the money in the long run.

SHEEEEIT

someone doubled their pneumonia and gave it to the pope

The fuck is "double pneumonia"? gods displeasure?
Something that is a very common cause of death for old people. Something that will take many of us in the end. Pepper your angus for a new Pope cause this one is about done.

That's perfect opsec. Nigga just shut the computer off just close your eyes.

They also likely are not running gayops or anything that facilitated more than what their using. For example there not going online saying there gonna do the minecraft to people.

disparage him as a "doomer" or "blackpiller" all you want, but the difference between posters like Fatpacks, Badman John and
Agitated Gerbil and @The Gene Genie is that @The Gene Genie does raise some legitimately good points, backed up by what we're actually seeing right now, and is actually proposing a plan of action on how to remedy those criticisms he has. The former posters had neither solid criticisms, nor plans of action to remedy them. He is acknowledging the good that the Trump admin is doing right now, while also correctly pointing out that without concrete legislation, it'll all have been for nothing.
Fatpacks archives his sources and he put on the suit. That's more than the gerbil did.

Just saw this exchange on FB and can't stop laughing. Is this stupider advice than Fatrick's "balloon filled with paint" idea? I wanna see these two live up to the LARP they are putting forward here, so authoritatively.

Further investigation, this guy posts 20-78(!) posts a day about Trump on FB alone since inauguration.

By-the-by, it's the lower federal judges that are setting fire to the constitution. And they'll never see it.

I hope to God before I die I get to witness some group of morons actually organize a "militant action" using tactics like this against, well, non-idiots (i.e. the actual military), and that it's filmed in 4k and made public as a lesson to others.

That is wrong and not the argument at all, the argument that tariffs will be borne by the American tax payer is that prices, not tax burden, is what is being shifted, in this case prices raising as importers raise to compensate partially or in whole for the tariff. The argument for tariffs is shifting domestic competitiveness of locally produced goods which lack the price increases to favor local production in the long run, more than compensating in jobs and national industry.
