I think there's a few like that around... it's not even about the manual linkage, there's been shit tons of cases with people burning to death because the locking mechanisms fucked up, I vaguely remember a few boomers on the paranoid side ordering cars expressively without central locking when that was still optional. With elon's cars this all is just next level untrustworthy, you throw in the abysmal q.c. - compare that to the run of the mill horror stories about car mfds and you got a big red flag. But if you think Tesla is special, because they don't have door handles, you're looking at the wrong things and you heard nothing yet about car mfds in general. Tesla just outscums them all without making a dime.
