Only like 70k active or so, plus reserves, and consistently fails to meet the 2% spending target that NATO sets. Canadian special forces don't fuck around, but the days of being Commonwealth chads are well and truly behind, with the rank and file being absolutely nothing special. Most useful thing we contribute to global defense is with NORAD operations in the arctic, if/when nukes start flying over the poles.

If you want to ruin the day of a few goatfuckers, JTF2 will serve you well. If you want to actually fight a war, we are sorely lacking up here in the north.

He and Trump have long history. If I remember right back in 2020 Trump requested that Zelensky gives him dirt on Biden and his family . Hunter Biden received job in Ukrainian energy sector , because he knew big guy at the time vice president Biden. And Zelensky back then told him no fuck you.

I mean yes and no. Ukraine is currently chimping out on the world stage, almost understandably so. The Russians just need to keep talking with America, they are and always have been the only two key players that matter in any of these and its the height of arrogance for any other second rate nation to suggest otherwise. If the Ukrainians turn around and say they don't want the peace deal then I give them a month, maybe less, depends if wider Europe steps in since America doesn't care. Realistically the Americans wont fumble this, Trump wants business back to normal and an escalation would fuck that right up.
