you're not alone. I was seeing a girl that I was pretty interested in, we talked over a few months, and wanted to take her out for a date as a stepping stone in our new relationship. the day before I picked her up, she was bitching and moaning about how she had to block certain family members because part of her family is super conservative. I said "Well damn that sucks, I'm pretty conservative" and she looked at me as if I brought her a dead baby and told her she could keep it. She pauses and says "...What?" and I said, "Yeah, you didn't notice that when I ranted about trannies/free speech/etc?". The girl replied "I can't associate with anyone that's conservative"... so I asked "So, does this mean the date is over?" and she replied, "I don't know.... maybe".
It pissed me off because I actually liked the girl and wanted to be with her, despite our political differences. However, I'm not going to change my views to appease anyone. I don't know what about Trump makes liberals unhinged and upset. I hear about orange man bad all day at work. I'm at a point where if I ever find a woman again, I'm making sure she's from the Church or something
