I agree. I think most of the teens and young adults who say they're trans or gender non-binary are doing it for attention, and/or because they are outcasts who think this will give them a ready-made social circle. There are reasons why legitimate doctors require anyone seeking gender reassignment to live as their preferred gender for at least a year, and two years is better.
The one person I have known personally who fully transitioned was on a Discovery Health Channel program ca. 2000 called "Changing Sexes." I nearly fell off the couch when he held up his HS graduation picture; I had ABSOLUTELY.NO.IDEA that this cute girl who always had perfect hair, clothes, and makeup was hiding such a drastic secret.
As for doctors being forced to provide services upon patient request, yeah, I've heard stories like that about abortions, infertility treatment, plastic surgery, etc. too. Sorry, but at least in the U.S., a doctor has the right to say that they are not going to do this or that, and tell the patient why.
